@nursebean , yes, literally just mashed cauliflower- with a bit of garlic paste and salt and pepper is the plan. Not tried before, but heard good reviews that very tasty and not dissimilar to normal mash. I shall report back!!
I am in today. First week back and had to move a fast day from Thursday to today as have a client lunch on Thursday. I love the flexibility. Happy Fasting everyone :-)
I'm in today. Four cheese ravioli sounds good to me, do you get some sauce as well for your calories? Quorn chilli for me later.

I'm in. The sun is out and I have just walked for an 1.5 hours over the south downs with doggie companion. Chicken curry tonight :-)
Hi @Sassy1, I'm with you about the something sweet before bedtime - my favourite is Vitarium sugar free hot chocolate in unsweetened almond milk for a measly 50 calories - the hot choc is sweetened with stevia, and you can buy it at your local Safeway (or woolworths if you must!)

I am trying a Mon/Weds/Fri this week..
I'm in today. My second for the week. I had a wierd day yesterday where i was really just craving food. ALL food! Don't know what that was about! I was trying to be so good during the day, but then when i got home from work it all went to pot and i basically ate everything i could get my hands on. So i think i need todays fast to set me straight again...

Was actually pretty nice, and not that dissimilar to normal mash. Texture slightly different- a bit grainier. I put it in the blender as it was a bit difficult with the hand masher. Would def eat again instead of reg mash on a fast day : )
@Wildberry did you mash the stems as well or just the florets?
I do use cauliflower in a gluten free pizza base and actually prefer its flavour, so I was also wondering if the 'mash' would be suitable for a fast day too.

PS. I'm intoday 2nd of my M-W-F 3 day fasting. I do think its working. I've had a steady downward trend since starting 4:3. I used to do every third day and went onto 5:2 because my home fasting buddy was getting fed up.It was about that time that my weight loss slowed to a crawl then stopped. Maybe I am one of those people who need the three days? It can't be because I eat too much on my feast days as I usually eat under my TDEE on my feast days.
I fasted today and ate an evening meal of salad with cauliflower au gratin like a sprinkle over the salad. In bed now time to :sleepy: . Had a lovely time making it, has a great sprinkle on top I invented :smile: and not sure of calorie count but it is low carb and was so yummy
I'm in today! I didn't fast on Monday because I was on a course in London and lunch was provided - how could I miss out in that? Yesterday I forgot that I was supposed to be fasting and had breakfast before I remembered, so today is my first fast of the week! :doh:

I'm in. Fell off the wagon in grand style since Christmas but I'm back today!
I'm in today, I always find Wednesday so much more difficult than Mondays so I save the calories for an Options hot chocolate in the afternoon. Don't know how I will feel next week as I plan to fast on Fridays as well during Lent.
2nd fast day of the week is almost over. Hope I sleep well tonight....it usually takes me ages to drop off after fasting. Does anyone else find this?
