Good Morning Wonderful Wednesday Fasters
I'm ready to fast today, who's going to join me?
Just moved this to the Fasting Today section of the forum...
My work colleague and I will join you. Wednesday is our second for the week. It's usually the hardest. I have been reading posts and thinking of all the starving people in the world and I feel very virtuous. I am not religious so don't often find 'special' ways of giving thanks for all I have. I think my fast days will now be my 'thanks' days as I am so grateful for everything.
I'll be joining you in the morning :)
I'm in :like: once I've had my Tuesday night sleep :sleepy:
I'm in! Doing 3 days this week because I'm feeling like I have gone backwards... though I haven't weighed myself I feel in myself that I've put on weight. I have a big weekend ahead of me and feel the need to be good this week. But I am feeling a little disheartened today.
Another reason for fasting today is that it's going to be 32 degrees in Melbourne today... as a Pom in Aus I can't handle the heat and find myself feeling cold every fast day so hopefully a fast will balance out my temperature!
Any words of wisdom about how I can combat the 5:2 blues today?
Not many in Wednesdays fasting club!
I am usually a Thursday faster but recently been doing Weds instead, may change back later!
I have a full day at work which is why I chose today, tomorrow I am off and want to do some baking!
Did overindulge a bit too much last night on the red wine and pringles so probably a good job I am in for repair today!
Happy fasting people xxx :clover:
Pre-Thanksgiving fast for me today.
I'm in today!
I'm in - usual Weds fast for me.
I'm in! I decided to move my fast to today as we are at a Christmas market tomorrow and I want to indulge in mince pies and mulled wine, YUM. However, today is going to be very hard as I have a poorly daughter who had me up nearly all night- tiredness is a major trigger which finds me munching my way through the contents of my kitchen.....still mince pies tomorrow and the goal of 5lb off before Christmas should keep me focused. Good luck everyone- any tips on getting through the pangs would be welcomed. :)
Im in! Second fast after getting back on the horse. Im 2kg (4lb?) heavier than my forum stats. (Hate to post a gain. ) its 8pm here - so almost done for the day. 520 cals - 1/4 cup reduced fat milk in my coffee for breakfast, miso soup for lunch, diet coke in between, dinner was pork schnitzel in terriyaki sauce & garlic with asian style froz veggies. Family had rice as well. Some grapes and tinned pear after.
Great name
I am currently in battle with a few kookaburras at my place at the moment they are knocking off my fish in our garden pond. I know I am pathetic but when I see them in the trees overhead of the pond I run out and chase them. My poor fish are rattled not to mention the ones that did not get away, my babies ...so sad. Still I like your name
