Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.

I'm in for a 16:8 at least - am going to wait as long as I feel ok to do.

I'm not planning a full fast day because I didn't like planning a fast and only doing 16:8 last Monday. Schools go back Monday so aiming for a proper fast day for then, when my refereeing skills are no longer needed!! Also think that for next TOM I will plan 16:8 and keep the positivity flowing, rather than having to repeat 'Its not a failed fast, its not a failed fast' to myself if I need to eat before lunchtime.

Have been liquid fasting today. Tried out @rawkaren green sludge and I can report it is lovely. Have a headache and missed my usual coffee and miso as have been onto the herb teas as well,

Best fast day so far. Soup for lunch and evening meal. No crankiness from me today. Fantastic. Hope all you Wednesday fasters are having a great day!
I'm doing my second fast today, and it's all quiet in the office apart from the sound of my tummy rumbling! I've been drinking plenty of water and herbal tea though and can barely keep off the loo! Very much looking forward to my soup for lunch :grin:

Glad you enjoyed it @gillymary. Good for killing the appetite. I still have a cup of black coffee though - can't bear the withdrawal symptoms :curse:
Pret miso soup (32 cals) and hoisin duck salad (138 cals) for lunch.
Getting a bit peckish here! Doesn't help that there's a massive bag of sweets for trick-or-treaters in view.

Semi-36hr-liquid fast today (does soup count as liquid fasting?)
191 cal mango and passionfruit juice for breakfast and 115 cals (+50 or so cals on sweet chilli sauce and low fat natural yog) spicy pumpkin soup - so around 340 cals for today. Planning on just having water and peppermint tea for the rest of the day...fingers crossed!
Is there an advantage of taking in your calories as liquid instead of food which you chew up into a liquid in your mouth? Not being facetious - genuine question! :oops:
Hi fellow fasters..i am in today tho wasnt planning to....but havent eaten yet and have onlyhad water so i might as well stick it out..specially as my normal fast n repair day is thursday,which just so happens this week to be Halloween..not such a good fasting day as the evening menu will be well over 500 cals..sausage,mash and barbecue beans,followed by toffee and toasted marshmallows ..all washed down with ginger wine. :razz:
I'm fasting today too, wasn't planning to but tomorrow I'm seeing friends & want to enjoy the food too!! In fact this week I fasted Sunday instead of Monday & today instead of tomorrow.. I LOVE that this woe fits into ANY plans that change or not!!
It's chilly here today & I always find I'm a bit colder on a fast day but like to think that trying to keep myself warm burns extra calories?!! We have very inadequate warm air heating (rented) sooo we're either freezing or feeling suffocated with the warm air!!
