Thanks to all who posted their (good) advice - I shall keep going, slow though it may be :-) Have to say the support from people on this forum is one of the things that has made it possible to continue - I am one of the (many) who has in the past tried every diet going (16st at my heaviest) and like SueQ, this is the only one I've ever stuck at - and a lot of it is down to this forum and its members.

PS And I agree about the toast smell - that is SERIOUS willpower SueQ!!
I can't find the Fastiversary Tent! Help!
Was out this morning and picked up a still warm baguette for OH on way home. The smell in the car was divine!
Still fasting and only four hours to fill until dinner!
Today's going well for me so far. It's 4pm here so not long until dinner at 6/7ish. Did have a cup-a-soup about 2ish, something I don't normally do but I think it's helped as it feels like I've had lunch. This evening I've just got to avoid all the yummy stuff we brought back from Uk. I think it will be early to bed for me. Hope everyone else is having an easy day.
I'm doing OK @justdee 4-30pm here had visitors for few hours so that has helped me keeping occupied,
Off to prepare my cottage pie very slowly, made me more determined knowing Carorees is doing forum weighing this weekend so scale day for me Friday. :clover:
Oh, monthly weigh in already, I better get walking again tomorrow and get rid of my UK gain before Saturday. Are you doing 4:3 again now @Sue.Q?

Did it! Just enjoyed my shepherds pie and am stuffed!
Hi all,

I'm in today. Had sweet potato, chicken, cottage cheese and salad for lunch. Garlic mushrooms on ryvita crispbread, followed by pineapple, a sprinkling of muesli and a small dollop of natural yoghurt for supper - delicious!

Hope everyone's had a good day xx
Well done Bob@Bobshouse the thing with me is,even tho i might be stuffed, the hunger monster wants to keep eating
Think i will manage a ( more or less) liquid fast today..i say more or less coz have just had a cuppasoup and will have another later...not totally liquid i know but certainly not what you could call ' solids'!
XX
Hi@pinchypops your grub sounds good! X
It all started so well... managed to fast up until getting home from work. Then I let the hunger get to me. I'll probably end the day on around 1300 calories - oops! This was my 5th fast day - it had all been smooth sailing up until now.

Note to self: do not attempt to fast without a good sleep the night before! Barely got 5 hours last night, when I'm used to 7 or 8, so I'm putting it down to that. Will try again on Friday.
Yes 4:3 this week @justdee Today was my 3rd
16:8 tomorrow coz of meal out and followed by another meal at weekend but will jump on scales on Friday morning before to much damage is done, not walked today and tomorrow is doubtful at this minute.
living in hope :clover: :clover: :clover: :clover:
@hannydee 1300 cals is still quite a restrained day
You've learnt a lesson from today and live to fast another day!
i' ll be in on Fri and no doubt several others so you won't be alone x
DH and I have been in today. Tough day for him; fast number three which I warned him would be rough. It's been my observation that the third fast is tough for many on here. Not helped by his long day today - up at 5:30 and home to eat at 20:00 :frown: A tough one for me too as its a particularly bad TOTM day. Still, we've made it!
Oh that does sound tough@winsome for OH...long long day
And TOTM for you
Its been a tough fast for me today as totally craving carbs now afterthree days virtually bread / spud/ grain etc etc free..i am about rip off a piece of stair carpet and gnaw on it! X
I want dem carbs! X and - groan - someone's just said the c word..croissant! X
