I am fasting today instead of the usual Thursday because I am travelling tomorrow and know that I will eat in the flight lounge and on the plane!!
Who else is fasting today?
Best wishes and good luck to us all. :) :clover:
Hi @[tag]Sassy1[/tag]
I'm in today instead of my usual Thursday too! I have a friends dinner tomorrow night so thought in order to enjoy to the max, I'll fast today instead. Going well so far - how are you getting on?
Grilled chicken and steamed veggies for dinner, it's a staple for me on fast days... I almost look forward to it!
Good luck all :clover:
Hi @kelkelkelster!
I am going okay, thanks, just having second black coffee after finishing the housecleaning (which is normally Thursday too) and before going out to do some weeding with our local land care group. :) Keeping busy is the key to survival for me on fast days. :)

Very sensible to swap your days so you don't have to limit yourself for dinner tomorrow. I did that last week (come to think of it, I often seem to swap Thursday fast for Wednesday) and just as well... Have a great evening tomorrow. :D

For dinner today I am finishing up assorted leftovers before going away - all the stuff that the menfolk won't eat, eg salad veggies. Will probably do a stir fry (I allow myself a small amount of oil as the veggies I use tend to be low cal ones) with a salad. Not sure about the protein source at this stage. Enjoy tonight's meal too!

I'm in today, after eating my weight in cheese yesterday.

I had my health check at work today. You have to fast overnight (i.e., not eat brekkie before coming in) for the blood test. The nurse said to me: you didn't eat breakfast. you must be so hungry. I just wanted to laugh. The test was over by 1010am. Even if I hadn't been doing IF for the last almost 2 years (!), I think I could survive not eating until then…

Much harder was surviving that long without coffee!
I'm in today but I think it might be tough. Fasted Monday and then stuck to around 1000 cals yesterday as I wasn't hungry but woke in the early hours ravenous! Just had my tea and I'm going to take the dog out for an hour or so. I'll see how I go, if I go over slightly I'm not going to beat myself up. I'm finding I'm doing a mix of fasting and window eating but I'm happy with my weight and apart from the odd weekend alcohol fuelled binge, feel like I really have control. Hopefully this really is the end of yoyo ing  happy fasting everyone
Best of luck Wednesday Wonders! :clover: :like:
@skinnyjeans my last two fasts have been very tough - hold on in there, you can do it! X
Yay to the end of yoyos! X
I'm in enjoy the fast everyone x
Hi all, I'm in for today too (second fast of the week). Hoping for good things as I'm still slightly short on my Equinox Challenge target! I'm just sipping some warming tea now, it's sunny and cold in south west England this morning. Good luck all :clover:
I am joining you all today. Wed fast usually my toughest for some reason.
Good morning Wednesday fasters! The sun is shining brightly in Sussex this morning. I am joining you for my second fast of the week but didn't get around to posting on Monday although I did manage to fast then but did have a hot chocolate going to bed taking my calories over 500.
On Monday I had the last of my varicose veins injected & treated & had my legs almost covered in dressings. It was much more painful having my surface veins treated & I felt like a pin cushion & must have had at least ten or more injections. A very small needle is used but it did sting & I was just gritting my teeth & wanting it to finish but all OK now & I took the pressure dressings off this morning. Just coffee & water until supper around six.
I hope you all have a good day!
Ow! The varicose veins treatment sounds horrible, @Isis, hope it makes a positive difference to you :) And very brave to fast on a day you underwent such trauma - I think the hot chocolate was well earned and I hope you didn't feel guilty.
Hope the treatment works @Isis! There's very little that chocolate can't help with ;)
I'm in today. Nothing shall pass my lips until 6ish this evening...and then its Haddock Mornay. Not very exciting but hey ho!
Hope its a good one everyone xx
@Isis, will you be wearing sexy little skirts now?

I'm in today. It is a beautiful day up here today so I stripped the bed before I went to work and youngest daughter hung it out before she went to school so now I'm off to distract myself from food by cleaning my bedroom. I'll have dinner early tonight and no doubt have a bath and be in bed early. I love getting into to bed when the sheets have been air dried - one of life's little pleasures.
I'm checking in today! this is my 2nd fast day of the week. I have lost 1/2 pound in the month of Feb. Hoping to loose more this March! Have a great day everyone!
Thank you Sassy1 & Nursebean my legs do feel better now  I had a couple of deep varicose veins that showed as really bulged where blood was collecting that was not good for my leg circulation, causing achy legs & swollen ankles, that I was unaware of until they showed up on the ultrasound. I could only see some surface veining, that apparently was largely cosmetic, those got worse when the deeper veins were treated & were peripheral to the treated ones as well as acquiring more when my circulation got redirected from the closed veins. The NHS doesn't seemed concerned about surface veins indicating deeper ones that need treatment despite me previously mentioning them to GPs & obviously occurring after my pregnancies! On the continent varicose veins are regarded more seriously & treated with sclerotomy as I have now had done privately.
Wildmissus I really wish I had lovely legs to show off with a short skirt  unfortunately I inherited my fathers rugby playing legs that look rather like tree trunks attached to the pear shaped me. It's very unfair because my mother had super slender & shapely legs
