What's in the gruel, madmois? Sounds intriguing. Also sounds too hot for it here. Not scorching like last week (thank goodness) but sticky and muggy instead.

I fasted Monday and am aiming for today and Friday too as we're on hols next week (probably a staycation mixed with a bit of camping/weekend away depending on the weather) for a fortnight so it's likely I'll be eating lots even if I do manage the odd fast. May not stick rigidly to 500cals today as will be meeting folks from a job I'm leaving later so I might share a glass of something bubbly with them. We'll see. Not feeling it today so I hope I don't cave in and get some M&S peanut butter ice cream when I'm in town later. Oh no, that would be terrible indeed...
Liquid fast for me today. A tube of double stuff Oreos fell into my mouth yesterday followed by a large spag bol, so I am making up for it today. :)
I'm in today even if I have to go to do some shopping.It can'twait any longer as everything (and I mean everything) is empty, we don't even have toilet paper anymore :grin: . The weather is a bit better so I guess it will be easier than the beginning of the week
Well someone left the lollie bowls within easy reach at 2day conference and for my penance with what I also ate at both lunches I have to reduce my weekly TDEE significantly to make up. Have managed to last to dinner today with lots of fluids and might also see what I can achieve tomorrow with either 5:2 or 16:8

I'am in too.My days are Mon & Weds like the thought of 4 normal days to follow. :lol: .This will be the 2nd fast that I wont eat untill tea..Find it better for me..I fill up on water and I love oxo drinks Little cooler up here so much better Have a nice day & Good Luck.. :clover:

I was sort of fasting. Folks are over visiting, so there is no way I will be abe to stick to 600 calories fr dinner. But isid manage to skip breakfast and lunch. :)
Green monster, gruel is a mug of stock, not very exciting I'm afraid, even less exciting as I've now had it. Only 6 hours to supper!
I'm in too, doing 4:3 this week as am going on holiday next week so want to maximise weightloss now. I'm planning on waiting until dinner to eat my 500 cals, hope I make it!
I'm here as well. Fasted Monday, and now today Wednesday. I'm thinking of fasting on Friday as well as I feel that my eating habits on normal days negates any good I've done on Fasting days. I really want to get away from counting calories as I've been doing that for a couple of years now...
I'm in too! We're unusually busy at the moment so I'm grabbing the chance. I fasted yesterday, till an evening meal at friends so was about 900 for the day. Tomorrow I'm out at lunchtime, then MiL arrives, so I doubt I'll be able to fast while she's here.

I'm in for the first proper fast in over 3 weeks :shock: I got ill for a while and fasting with antibiotics turned out not to be for me, then work got really hectic in the build up to the holidays (I work in a secondary school)and there were the obligatory doughnuts,cakes, ice creams, frappes just to keep ourselves going :confused: In short I let me self sabotaging thinner is good but chocolate is better brain get control for too long.

It's hot today but that's not going to be a problem because I have jubbly lollies (16cals blackcurrant, 17 cals tropical), mini milks (30cals each) and nice cold 10cal jellies for the day time and turkey burgers from the mimi spencer book with salad for dinner. Hungry at the moment though, it's tough starting again after a break. :oops:
Im in although today I am feeling very headachey, a little nauseous and light headed :( determined to succeed today as tomorrow I break up for 11 days annual leave so I would very much like to go out for a celebratory drink (or 3) Tomorrow night.
I'm in again 2nd fast of the week, I have been my 8 mile walk it was roasting weather and humid so have been drinking loads of fruit tea. Counting down 31/2 hours till I can have dinner, probably a prawn salad then either strawberries or low cal jelly and ice cream .Hope all goes well for everybody :clover:
