I have no problem resisting McDo's fries, I read somewhere that they contain the same additive that is used to make Potty Putty!! I'm in today just enjoyed chicken curry with cauliflower rice. First time I had tried this "rice", surprisely good, even OH thought it was a good substitute.

Is cauliflower rice literally grated rice?

Cut the florets off the cauli and pulse quickly in the food processor, don't over process, so it resembles rice. Then stir fry for a few minutes in a tiny amount of oil and add salt and pepper - voila! It really is pretty good and filling, great with saucy food like curry or chilli

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner - stuffed mushrooms (almonds, onions, mushroom trimmings, Parmesan) with artichokes, aubergine, and griddled peppers.

It's been a peaceful day in relation to appetite. Tonight I baked some more fruit cakes as we're visiting relatives over the weekend: I have a few more to bake tomorrow in addition to my usual preparations for the weekend.

:clover: to those of you having a difficult day or those with many more hours to go.
