FD 14th of January
14 Jan 2015, 07:08
 First time I look for the FD-thread of the day and there is none yet...

Hi all,
I am in for back to back fast like last week. Got up without that hunger-feeling that sent me too bed with my tiredness yesterday. Wow, amazing that it always works like this

Will eat dinner at 6 p.m. Have decided to make another Harzer-cheese-tomato salad with olive oil and cider vinegar. The protein is attacking the fat cells over night :victory: Next weigh in for me will be 31st of January yet it looks I have lost a bit more belly fat...

Cheerio and
FFF (fabulous fasting flow)

I'm fasting today as well , day two of back to back fasting as well. I woke early and am already quite rumbly, so I think it's going to be a long day. :clover:

I'm in. Always harder on a Weds for some reason but I always used to look forward to Thursday and official weigh in day to keep me strong - but now I'm just gaining and losing the same 3kgs so not much fun :-( Oh to get below the magic 61!!

Good luck to all (3 of us so far) !

I have fasted today! Thursday is my normal fast day, but I didn't feel hungry this morning and as I was going to the cinema this afternoon, decided to wait to eat until after that, and see how I went. I was busy after then, so got through to dinner before eating. :) So far I have only eaten a fast day's worth of cals, so will see if I can manage the rest of the evening without food - though having started eating, I now feel the want to eat more than I did before I ate ... But hopefully the thought of a normal day tomorrow will get me through.

I am intrigued as to whether my lack of hunger is associated with the lower-carb diet I have been following for a few days, or just a random event (most fast days I do feel hungry, but not all). Time may tell!

Best wishes to fellow fasters! :)

Almost missed this thread and started a new one, was looking for the words "Fast" or "Fasting".
I am in today for second one this week and actually in a long time as have been off the fasting routine and trying other options (and also gaining weight :frown: )
Good Luck all, whether you have finished or are just starting ( this is such a great Global forum). Off to have my first black coffee of the day. :clover:  :clover:

Nearly 15th of January now! My fasting is giving me the memory of food via a gurgly tum and oddly, a taste of chocolate in my mouth. Promise I didn't! Did have a swim, and a nice walk.

Here I am again. Blimey! It feels as though I'm fasting every other day...oh I am! Anyhoo, I've just enjoyed half an M&S vegetable soup (had to add some chilli powder because he was a tad on the bland side). Tonight, around 6-ish I hope to enjoy a beef stroganoff (again, courtesy of M&S)
I managed a short walk with the girls (they are both a bit delicate at the moment with upset tummies...and poor Poppy has got her booster jab tomorrow...poor soul!)
Oh @Sassy1 what film did you see? Hope you managed to hold out. I know what you mean, though. You can go all day without food but the moment you eat something you feel as though you want more. The key is to wait at least 10 mins...and then you'll find yourself full. At least, thats the theory!
Good luck to all you Wednesday fasters!

Heya dear fast-mates,
hope you're doing fine there. I am sooo hungry and have so much appetite, too  Ha! Good, I focus it all on tomorrow's feast  I am very much looking forward to eating then. That is what I like about the fast days. I have always appreciated food and the fact that we have access to all that variety (other than so many other human beings on this globe) yet since I've been doing FD I do appreciate it so much more.

I just came back from what I call "soulfood-shopping": Library tour on my bike getting new DVDs, CDs and books. I am so happy to have this in my life. It is like a horn of plenty... So now my eyes will munch a bit and my heart will digest it

Wishing us a wonderful process
M

Better late than never I'm in today too
Not my normal day but thought I would have an extra fast this week as I have a naughty lunch with friends on Saturday and desperately don't want the scale numbers going up at next weigh in now I finally found how to make this WOE work me ( I have to count cals to TDEE on non fast days)

Had a Quest protein bar for lunch 170 cals and lots of black coffee and hot water with apple cider vinegar ( I'm weird I like the taste !) Salmon and veggies for dinner
Good luck all we're over half way there in the UK :clover:

I had run out of my Fast day soup in the freezer, so for lunch I had tiny one egg omelette in my new tiny 14cm pan. I added some mushrooms and a chopped spring onion and a hint of finely grated strong cheddar and it worked well and has kept the rumbles away all afternoon.

Good morning, I'm here today! I think it will be a good day. Tonight at church is Pizza night but I don't think this will be a problem for me because I don't really like Pizza. Well have a great day everyone

I'm in today as well. I'm going back to having 500 cals on fast days ( I used to zero cal fast) in the hope that I can get more control back of non fast days. I've had a cuppa soup at lunch time - 80 cals, I know I can get lower calorie than that but I wasn't going out in the snow! This evening's dinner is the Hairy Dieters sweet and sour chicken and I can't wait - dinner might be a little earlier than usual  .
