29 Sep 2013, 16:11
I usually fast on a Sunday and there never is many of us. Didn't fast today as I was I'll yesterday and ended up fasting, but checked this morning and no thread...
The day is now done here and still no thread!
Surely someone is fasting? And needing support
Very confused....

Hi Janeg. I did mine yesterday and not many of us then either. If anyone is fasting today and not checked in, good luck :clover: :clover:

Well, hellothere Janeg!
Big wave from home!! Not fasting myself, but just popping on to say hello china, well done for fasting today, and sorry you weren't well yesterday. We're having some very nice late summer weather here and as the nights will be drawing in soon it's very welcome. How's life in the sandpit? All that sun and diving - must be awful :?:

Hi

I'd normally be fasting today but have been out for a family lunch so didn't fast (on a Sunday) for the first time in months!

Hope you are doing ok.

I am fasting today. My husband going out tonight for dinner with a few friends so since I didn't need to cook thought I'd do my fast today. Havnt eaten yet. Trying to see how long I can go. But tummy now rumbling so might have a poached egg on toast. I did last Sunday as well. I cooked a Sunday roast but just had a small portion. Doing Tuesday and Thursday and Saturday this week then on Sunday I'm off to lanzarote for a week all inclusive holiday. So no fasting for a week
. Tomorrow is my three week weigh in.lost 7lbs in first two weeks. Doing 4:3 until my holiday.

:::waves::: I'm fasting! It's nearly 7pm here in Germany so I've pretty much survived the day :-) Don't normally do Sundays but I had a cold Fri/Sat and didn't feel like fasting then!

Just about to finish work, then off home where I may make a mug of Marigold - liquid fasting for me.

I'm hungry but trying to hold out as long as I can. So far so good. If I can last until 7.30 then I won't bother eating. Will have a bath watch a bit of tv then go visit a friend then pick hubby up at 10.30 then bed. Well that's the plan hope I can stick to it.

Yay! So glad that we can support Kawberlin and lblair102 . Good for you flying the flag for the usual Sunday bunch. It feels very odd not fasting today and as there are usually so few of us, I didn't want to let anyone down. Odd eh?
Dhana, big wave back. Enjoy the good autumn weather, I was looking at photies of trees and getting very homesick again. Even lovely diving can't make up for the delights of autumn. It's still very hot here and I've unfortunately had to work outside, hence being ill yesterday with the heat. Hopefully winter will come and it'll be like a hot Scottish summer - nearly bearable! how's your garden and produce?
And the nights are fair drawing in here too!

I didn't intend to fast today, but didn't eat until 4pm and decided I may as well carry on. I've gone a bit over at 523, but I'm not particularly worried as I've been decorating this afternoon and reckon I've earned those extra 23cals  Plus, I didn't manage all of my curry!
For tea I had bacon, eggs and mushrooms dry fried in my new amazing frying pan 238cals
For dinner I made a turkey curry 285cals
Feeling pretty full now. I'm going to do Sunday Wednesday and Friday this week

It's now 8.10 and still having eaten. Totally starving but going to not eat. Can eat tomorrow and so looking forward to it. It's easier than I thought. Weigh in tomorrow so can't wait to see if I have lost anything.

No not going to have anything. Have passed the hunger now. Hope it's ok to go all day and not eat. Don't want it messing up my metabolism. If that was the case I could eat toast. Just wouldn't mind having a day of no food and sort of detox. Any advice would be welcome.

You don't have to have your calories if you feel you can get by without them, it's only 1 day of zero cals. ;)
