Hi all you lovely Tuesday fasters, here we are again. It's my eighth fast and I'm quite looking forward to it. Good luck all!
Joining you again, Esmerelda!
Woke up hungry, but having coffee and then going out and about. Hopefully, distraction will help.
Have a good fast.
Hi janeg - we must stop meeting like this lol! I hope the distraction works - have a good day.
I am in today, put on 1/2 lb last week, so on 4:3 this week again.
I cooked Party Tea for a Surprise mothers day lunch for OH's Mum, and so the Fridge was chock full of nice things, Yesterday I cleared this with a combination of eating it, freezing it, and feeding it to the Dog.
So it's looking a bit better no, why I had to make 60 mini quiches and Meat pies I do not know!!!
Still back on it, like a car bonnet!!!!!!!!!
Ooh, boboff, I love party food.

I'm fasting today so just having a cup of black tea at the moment.
This is my my 15th fast today but I have to admit that I have had two failed attemps at doing my 15 th fast (one last week, one yesterday) and I sincerely hope that I will be able to stick to it like on fast days 1-14.
My recent feast days have also been rather binge days.
I have been a binge eater for years and years so there is really no surprise there but I just so much hope I will be able to be back on track...

What triggered this unhealthy turn for the bad? With the 2:5 eating plan I always felt fine with the pattern two feast days and one fast day. The wider gap of 3 feast days seemed too long. I therefore changed to 3:4, but that proved too hard for me and I think triggered this past lapse which not only made my weight pile back on but caused me to feel really bad about my body and my nutrition again.

So fast day 15, here I come and I hope I will be able to say tonight that I have stuck to it. :geek:
Don't call them feast days.

I'm with you today - lemon in water to start off.
The term feast day is quite misleading, you are right, Melanie. What's your word for it?
I have had black tea with lemon flavour so far and I am off to meet eith a friend doing some walking in the snow. :-)
Fasting today, settled into the Tuesday/Thursday routine now. Miss the odd day occasionally but I don't try and "Catch up" and just call it a day off.

I do call it a feast day as it gives me an excuse to eat junk
Although I find I don't eat as much as I used to on feast days.
I call it an ordinary day. And I still track my calories those days, although not terribly strictly, its just habit.

Just had my breakfast pancake - half a banana, egg white, and some raspberries.
Number 12 for me, only one pound to go! Saving cals for teatime but not sticking to the bare 600 any more (maybe 800 -900). The period between meals seems more important than the calories now I am so close, eating sensibly on the other days has not been a problem - no crisps for 6 weeks - and 85% chocolate turns out to be the ideal Paleo treat!
Morning all
I am fasting today as I gave blood last night and so didn't feel I could do that on an empty tum.
I have 3 days training this week and am hoping to do today and Thursday as my fast days.
Trini don't be too hard on yourself, although I too seem to be binging a bit on my food days which I am not happy about. I want the benefits of my body repairing and haven't found fasting too difficult so far, so just need to get a grip on the non-fast days.
It's rather cool here on the east of England but the sun is shining which definitely helped when just out walking my dogs. Now off to work and a fruit tea when I get there. Fruit & green teas and black coffees until dinner tonight.

Have a good day everyone.

Amanda
I'm fasting today too,I think its number 11. Will try and make it through as long as possible before a soup lunch, then a Waitrose Love Life ready meal with extra veg for dinner. Unfortunately I got stuck in snow last night and didn't eat dinner till after 9, so the fast period will be a bit shorter.
Good Luck, and keep warm
Hi Tuesday Peeps

i am fasting today also, am loving this wol as alreday i have lost a stone and NEVER have i lost weight so easily before. the fast last week were a bit of a struggle and both days i had a few more than 500 cals but i still seemed to lose so am not gonna beat myself up too much about it:-)

Hoping this week the fasts will be as easy as in the first couple of weeks - it does seem like a lot of people have odd weeks where they struggle a bit so its nice to know its not just me

good luck all

jeniben
I'm not fasting today but was having a lurk. Jeniben, well done!

But you're right, I've now been on the WoE for 10 weeks and some weeks are hard, others are really quite easy. Some I've want to eat too much on feed days, others I've not wanted to eat at all.

I think it's settled down now so I may switch to 4:3 (from ADF), just contemplating it now as it might be easier with doing more exercise.
