keep at it Esmeralda- you can't have long to go now! Rooting for you :)
And everyone else of course!
OK this sounds very sad  but just joined this network on Friday, I have been logging in and out throughout this weekend reading everyone's posts, watched the 'Eat,Fast,Live programme this pm. Got the books plus ordered another book from this site via Amazon to support Moogie for creating & maintaining this wonderful site, notepad, scales everything is spread out on my lounge table. Well its a way to psyche me up and mentally I am ready to start tomorrow. Abit nervous but after seeing the programme it shocked me abit and is now making me aware of everything I eat lol. Thank you all for your motivational stories and will update later next week. Look forward to more tips & wish you all a good week:)
Without risking to tempt fate - this has been a particularly easy fast day! Hope everyone else had a good day. For those that didn't - keep going, there is always another day to fast!

YoyoJan - I think when you have reached your goal weight you could either go for 6:1 - that is just one fast day per week. Or eat a bit more on the fast days to get the health benefits not the weight loss. I think The Johnson calculator probably explains what calories to aim for in that position.

Thanks Rachel, I'll look at that.
Made it through the day! Tucked up in bed now so I'm safe from snack attacks. I can't believe how easy it is to stick to this. I have no willpower at all, and usually I'm nibbling on all sorts of things. Somehow, on fast days, I just .... dont! I really enjoy the challenge of making 3 good meals out of 500 calories too. Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow, but I often find I'm not that hungry after a fast day. Odd, that!
Ah, that's better! Back to my usual routine of Sunday and Tuesday fast days after a couple of weeks of being all over the place. It really through me off! Anyway, I'm now in bed after a fairly easy fast day, but I do have to have an early night when I'm fasting so I don't get tempted by a late-night tipple or nibble! It's been a cold and miserable day, so I've had lots of lovely warming things to eat: half a tub of Waitrose red pepper, harissa and chilli soup for lunch, then a big bowl of delicious home-made cassoulet for dinner. Still feel full now! Looking forward to breakfast though - my favourite meal of the day. Good luck to everyone fasting tomorrow
