Ahhhh - it's quite a relief knowing that food is one thing that I don't need to worry or concern myself over today. Plenty of other stuff to worry about! Think it'll just be the usual chicken breast and salad or turkey stir fry for dinner tonight - need to stop for a couple of bits in the shop for either (bad planning on my part). Oh well. Serve me right for being lazy last night eh.

Feels like ages since my last fast day (Thursday last week). This'll make me feel so much better.

Have a good fast everyone :)

PS: I used to get IBS - just realised that it's completely stopped since starting 5:2. Not sure if it's the fast days themselves, or if I've subconsciously alters some other eating habit that was causing it. Anyone else noticed the same?
I'm fasting today too, I'm in Aus though so the day is almost over, and I'm starting to feel the hunger as it gets closer to dinner time! I'm always really looking forward to the fast in the morning but by late afternoon I'm ready for it to be over. Bean based chilli con carne for dinner tonight bring it on!
I bulked yesterday, and am fasting today instead.

So glad I did. I ate a nice big Tea, and feel content today.

Did swimming and some of that 20 second HIT carol mentioned yesterday on the bike at the Gym, then some Reps on the weight machine! I felt like one of them people who go to the Gym, what do you call them? Oh yeah normal!

Will go again today I feel!
Fasting today, and woken up starving! Always don't sleep before a fast day and wake up 4.30 ish which makes the fast day longer! Weird or what lol, good luck to all those fasting today x
Fasting today too. I usually do Mondays but caught up with some friends last night and enjoyed food and a little wine! Lots of veggies and a small amount of home made sweet and sour pork (OH''s speciality) await me when I get home from work this evening. Until then green tea and black coffee. I don't mind fasting but am hoping for a busy day that flies by! Good luck everyone.
Morning (evening) fellow fasters!

I didn't have a great night's sleep either - I have a poorly dog at the minute who doesn't like sleeping with his cone of shame on, so he was rattling round the kitchen. I wanted my husband to get some sleep as he was heading off in the snow on a business trip this morning, so I spent a few hours dozing on the couch with the dog. We're heading for the vets at 9, and hopefully will be returning minus the dreaded lamp-shade!

Just had scrambled egg and smoked salmon for breakfast, and I have some home made ratatouille for dinner later. No dog training tonight - cancelled because of the snow - so I shall endeavour to find something else to do to keep me busy.
Hi all, *waves at boboff*, fasting today and really looking forward to it. I overdid the feed day yesterday (was definitley more like a feast day lol) so I'm really glad to go back to basics today. Good luck everyone!
G'day, just finishing my first fast day for the week. Was at work today so relatively easy. Just had two poached eggs on soy linseed toast with avocado. Yum. Happy fasting Northern hemisphere peeps.
Morning all!
Fasting today and I'll be out and about all day for the first time. I find it better when I'm at home, I wonder how it will go today that I can't stay in.
I have packed some snacks and I hope for the best!
Good luck to everybody!!!
Fasting today. Not in the mood for it really, but seeing good results over the last several weeks to focusing on that. Eyes on the prize!
Fast day for me, went out last night and all I want to do is pig out and crawl into bed.
Hi all, ate me head off the last two days as I was at home bored recovering from a cold...back at work and game on :)
Good luck all
Did not do my Monday fast as planned, so fasting today. Weighed earlier and haven't lost anything this week but haven't gained either! I don't get this "cold" feeling that lots of people report, don't know if this is a good or bad thing. i think I have a lot of visceral fat keeping my insides warm  plus drinking lots of hot chai (no milk). Good luck everyone :clover:
Good morning/evening tuesday fasters :) Feels like a long time since last thursday for me too, and I was looking forward to my body feeling clearer somehow. Great weekend including a 3 course meal, with lemon meringue to finish no less. Plenty of red wine and some real ale too... Off to shops today, not good planning perhaps but so much easier when you just know there is no debate to be had about what you 'can' or 'can't' have.
Good luck all

Morning/evening all!

This is only my 3rd fast day, so wish me luck! Good news, DH is going to do the plan with me. He has a "belly" he wants to cut down, so he wants to give it a whirl. I don't plan on eating until lunch, if I'm hungry, but want to try to make it to supper.

Those who are cold, I'm always cold, so no change there. My average temp is 97.5. I'm hypo, so that has a lot to do with it.

I really like this plan so far. I haven't weighed yet, I plan on doing that this Friday. I wanted to give it 2 full weeks before I hop on the scale. But, I already feel different. My stomach feels more "empty" I would say? I don't feel all bloated like I usually do.

Happy fasting!
