Who is fasting today?

I haven't been around much over the past couple of weeks, as my work schedule has doubled in amount and I've had difficulty keeping up with everything. I've been fasting but not posting.

Snacks for today are celery sticks and sesame breadsticks.

Good luck everyone!
When I saw you'd started this thread at 10am GMT, I was astonished that no one in Australia/NZ had already started one. I'm not fasting...perhaps you're on your own! Surely not?
I'm fasting today. Going to do Sat, Tues & Thurs this 'week'. Hopefully this will sort out tomorrow's excess!
Hi, I'm fasting today! Tea, black coffee and water all day, with prawn and coconut curry tonight.
Fasting today! Black and herbal tea and lemon water so far. My first time without doing a small brunch meal on a fast day. So far, not bad, but still a few hours to go.
I'm fasting today too! Bit of a last minute decision unfortunately made after having a hot cross bun for brekkie- oops! Is the third one of the week, had to shoehorn it in after plans got rearranged and have to skip monday next week. Am a bit under the weather so bit off me food anyway, so will take full advantage of food tasting like cardboard to me!
Hope all the fellow fasters have a great day :0)
I'm fasting today! Can't wait for the chocolate tomorrow! That's what I'm focusing on.
I'm fasting today too, I have done 4:3 this week to give me a little extra boost before Easter so will enjoy half an Easter egg tomorrow without the guilt and maybe even a hot cross bun for breakfast if I'm feeling really festive! The kids will expect me to join in( that's my excuse anyway) good luck all of you fasting too, not much longer to go until tea time which will be the first time I eat today, can't wait!

Any milk in the tea?

I'm an avid tea drinker, but only with milk. As (even skimmed) milk is quite calorific I have to avoid tea on fast days :frown: Booo.
..... And I'm out! Stomach started to get narly, so gave in and had an orange... So I'll end the fast now, knew it was too much to do 3 in 6 days and having brekky too- the positive thing to take from this is that my planned fasts work and brekky makes me hungry!
Good luck to the rest of yous :0)
Pip - it's amazing what you change re tea and coffee- this time last year I drank loads of tea and coffee with milk, fully addicted to caffeine, but wondering why I had palpitations? Followed the Zoe harcombe plan for a while where you have to give up caffeine- since then, drink black decaf coffee, fruit teas with a full caff tea and coffee the occasional treat. The theory behind the ZH caffeine deprivation is that is has an affect on insulin levels, will find a link when I'm on my laptop-
Anyways, there are loads of nice hot drinks out there if you are missing your tea!

Sorry to hear that your fast went down the pan

Re: hot drinks, I tend to have a chicken Bovril if I'm craving tea. In fact, I've sometimes found myself replacing tea with it on non-fast days!
