Hello Rachel and Pirateship, join our happy band!
Hello ladies, n gents

I am also fasting today, we did Easter eggs yesterday as my hubby is away on business today.

I have had my tuna salad for lunch, after a long lie in. Tonights dinner is chicken stir fry.
Off to clean now to keep my mind off eating.

Good luck everyone Happy Easter Fast Day....... :victory:
Thanks for rubbing my nose in it you guys! After what I've eaten today I think I'll be having 22 fast days in a row!!! Just can't wait to see those scales tomorrow!! All chocolate eggs have now been removed from this house (via my digestive tract)! Fast day tomorrow thank heavens....and thank heavens I only eat chocolate on this one day a year on excess!

I am very proud of your brave efforts. Easter Monday will be much easier for me.
hmmm, wonder if five is the lowest amount of fasters ever!
Make that 6!! I'm having a guilty fast today as well! D'oh!!
Ha! Nothing like a naughty food session to spur on a fast! Take that as you will...
Hello

This is my second fast - finding it very hard. Tried 2 meals on my first attempt, but today I'm saving up for 1 meal (miso soup is helping to fill the gap). I find an afternoon nap helps to kill time!!
Hang in there spacey74. A nap is a good strategy if it fits in. Most people find the first few fasts tough and then it miraculously gets easier and we find better coping strategies. Glad you could join us.
Thanks Jane G

No afternoon nap today (watching tennis), but very much looking forward to my chicken stirfry!
I'm fasting too!
Easter Sunday is in 5 weeks in Greece so today is any given Sunday.
It won't be a 36 hours fast since I was drinking and eating ice cream till the wee hours but I find it so easy since I woke up at 3.30pm and I had my lunch at 5.30pm.
I'm not hungry at all, woo hooooooo!!!

There are clinics in Switzerland where they give you medication to sleep almost all day in order to lose weight. I always try to go to bed late on the night before fasting so that I'll wake up around noon. I mainly work at home so I can choose which hours to work and which to sleep.
When we sleep we don't eat but we still burn calories so nap away!!!
me too i'm fasting. I am working tho and i only do 1 meal a day
although i have just blew my whole allowance on 3 bits of pizza. :curse:
1 of the boys brought into work.
well looks like I aint having anything when i get home
Hi, I'm fasting too here in sunny (but cool) Southern California. Nothing much happening at home today so thought I'd give it a try and won't have to fast on Monday - planning soup for lunch and then a turkey meal with hubby tonight (just a small one for me). Had drinks last night so feeling a bit guilty today.

Happy Easter to you all. American hot cross buns just aren't the same as back home!!!!
I'm fasting, too. Just started 5:2 last week and it seems to suit me to fast at weekends. Easter lunch tomorrow for me ...yum yum :-)
Well to the eleven of us- I've had a good day and am now signing off to bed. Hope those still going manage and those who have finished will be ready for the next one
