Well, I fully expect to be on my lonesome fasting today
It's a normal working day here, I'm at home on my own, visitors away  so it seems sensible to get back on the wagon properly instead of clinging on with two fingers.
Good on you Jane, good luck!
Thanks Airi! I'm kind of inbetween the main time zones when I come on line in the morning so your support is appreciated very much. Feel as though this could be a difficult one.
You can do it Jane - remember if you're tempted to eat extra that you can have it tomorrow and it will taste all the better!
Ta. There isn't that much left around - I scoffed the marzipan, the lemon curd cakes are like stones (baking isn;t my forte) but the individual Simnel cakes are singing to me. I had a whole one yesterday for breakfast. I'd just done a 26 hour working /waking stretch had eaten 2 small healthy meals and wanted something nice when I wakened up. I did enjoy it but it was too much and the usual half would have done. I'll keep the feeling of that for when they move into full blown opera mode.
Nothing special food wise for the day either so it's not too bad- I can resist the substitute Easter Eggs as they aren;t good chocolate. I'm a chocolate snob!
:)
I hear you - life's definitely too short to eat bad chocolate!!
unfortunately there is no such thing as bad marzipan
Lol, for me all marzipan is bad marzipan so I guess I'm lucky!
I'm not fasting today but I hope I've got most of my over-indulging out of the way as we had our big dinner last night. I am on a business trip from this evening, and expect quite a lot of stress, so might not get to do any fasting until near the end of this week. Good luck for today Jane and thanks for your mod support in the quiet hours!
Fasting today and for the first time trying to fast all day with only 1 meal in the evening.
I read from a lot of people they find it easier so I thought I would give it a go.

Good luck everyone and happy easter!
YAY! Someone else. I started off with 2 meals and moved to one and find it much easier. It's worth a try and if it doesn't suit you can always try something else. Hope you have a good one :clover:
Thanks Janeg, I'll see how it goes :-)
HUNGRY!!!! drittling through the housework and still have the floors to wash. It's taking ages cos I keep computering! Loking forward to a can on diet Irn Bru as an incentive. And have a good book. Have shut the doors and put on the aircon as it's roasting. Ages to go yet until dinner...
Hi Janeg and Pooky-san,

I am fasting today too - thought I would be the only one!

There isn't a family Easter get together this year and I had lunch out with my parents yesterday so thought I might as well fast today as usual.

I have plenty of housework type things to do but will probably waste time on the computer instead.

Its still very cold here so I have put the heating on full.

Hope you both have a good day despite any hunger.
I'm fasting too, I've guilt tripped myself into it! I went out and got rather tipsy last night and then ordered a massive pizza when I got in. And I actually ate nearly all of it. I'm so annoyed with myself, that's about three days worth of feast day food in one past midnight meal! Grrrr! I'm going to try and go til dinner time without my normal tiny lunch too. Finding it OK so far, only another 6 hours to go!
