Deciding to slip another in this week to try and make up for the 'indulge and bulge' tour with visitors. And the big weigh in on Sunday which I'll need to measure for as no scales in the hotel (sad? not at all  )
Who's joining me?
Have a good one those who do
I am joining you today as haven't been able to fit another day in since tuesday....never done an FD on a Friday before but feeling quite relieved as big party tomorrow night so gotta save myself for that! Have a good one! :)
Yes I'm having to fast today too as only day available (my daughter was here until Tuesday and my son and daughter in law will be visiting tomorrow). Don't really like fasting on a Friday as it means I can't have my glass of wine! Still, I'm sure I'll make up for it tomorrow! BTW I really found this Wednesday's fast quite hard going, for the first time really. I hope today will be easier! Good luck to everyone today.
Friday is the weekend here but as I'm not working and beloved is, and is out til night time, it seems to make sense. I do find it harder to fast with just one eating day in-between, but have always manage up til now. Lots of water and some more water, please.
Morning all
I'm fasting today, number 22. Had a gain this week but not surprised as had meals out & far too much chocolate and only 1 fast day last week.
So fasted Tuesday & now today. Am looking forward to a good day at work concentrating on work and not food!!
Not sure what dinner tonight will be, probably salmon & veg stir fry, fruit teas & black coffee until then.
Enjoy everyone.
Amanda
Hello everyone
I am also fasting today, so back into routine for me. I will be out to dinner & a concert tomorrow. Hope all fasters have a good day today I'm off to the hairdressers this morning where they have good coffee available plus lots of magazines.
Good luck everyone! It's only my second fast day today, hoping it's easier than the first! I've seen good results just in the first week so I'm hoping it will give me the motivation to last until dinner time!

Just out of interest - has anyone tried taking a fibre supplement on fast days to stave off mid-day hunger?

My 2nd today too.

Wait - you've lost 3 lb in 3 days? Blimey! Congratulations.

I had a single poached egg for brekkie along with my anti-cholesterol yoghurt drink, and will be making stir-fry for diner tonight, although the big challenge will be not having popcorn at the cinema tonight!
Me today. OH is talking about cakes for his parents as they're visiting later, not sure how that's going to work but hey-ho.

Went to my first weightlifting class last night and I ache!
I ate nearly 3000 calories yesterday as it was my anniversary!
But I've just woken up (off work today) so planning to get in another fast today and make it a 4:3

Having tea now!
Wasn't planning to fast but sort of did by accident. Just had a few coffees and a banana until tea time. Didn't feel hungry at all. Wow! OH served a sausage and veg so didn't want to disappoint him by not eating it - not sure if I stayed under calories with that but I will call it a half fast.

Thanks! I have a feeling it might be a bit too good to be true though. I tend to lose quite a lot on the first few days of a diet and then put it back on again a few days later. I think next Friday's weigh-in will be more realistic!

Good luck resisting the popcorn! If you've got about 60/70 calories going spare I always find taking 10 almonds to the cinema does the trick. Nibble on one when you can't bear the smell of popcorn anymore and it takes the craving away
Fasting today and it's slow going. OH is coming to meet me for lunch in a bit so I get to watch him eat. Haven't eaten anything yet, just water. Even resisted chocolates at "Friday coffee". Today seems much harder than Tuesday. Need to decide what to have for dinner tonight so I've got something to look forward to!
Tempted to fast again today (did yesterday) as I have family visiting for the weekend, arriving tomorrow, which will mean eating out lots.
Thinking damage limitation, as I need to get off this damn plateau, my body is clinging on for dear life to 10st.10lb god damn it!
HI
I'm fasting today too, which will be a real struggle as my MIL is staying, and bought loads of wine...

I'm really struggling today, stomach rumbling like mad, but I've just had a mug of bovril, and have a mug of fruit tea for something sweet after, hoping that does the trick.

There is a big international food fair in my town over the weekend, dreaming about all the cakes I can eat :-)
