I have not had anything to eat so far and will only eat at this meal.
Not sure which meat yet! (I have no choice over it - it's where I work). But I was thinking one slice of roast meat, one potato and a load of vegetables would keep me under 500 calories. I think I ought to avoid the yorkshire puddings entirely....!
I am searching online and an entire plate of roast with all the tirmmings is coming in at 800+ calories, so I am aiming at less than half of a large plate.
Anybody have any wise words?

That all sounds sensible. Sunday lunches tend to be calorific so if in doubt, eat sparsely.
New to the forum but been on this plan for nearly 3 weeks. Sixth fast day in total today and have been at work. Find it a lot easier to fast at work. Had 127 calories at lunch and have just had a 135 calorie prawn salad from M&S, leaving me 238 should I feel the need. Have been on water, coffee and green tea today.
Loving the support on this forum! Oh and meant to say, have lost 7lbs in 2 weeks! Yay me!
Mmmm, I prob have enough to have a small glass of wine, but I shall try to resist. May have a boulion drink later if I am still hungry...
I might turn the television on to keep away from the kitchen!
Had soup for lunch and that will do me until tomorrow lunchtime (I hope) I'm away on business tomorrow so I don't know when or what I'll be eating - got to try and keep it kind of healthy though...
Apricot - read the boulion as bourbon and thought that sounds like a good idea, oops!! Good job I have none in the house!!
