Just had M&S - Slow Roasted Aubergine & Tomato Curry and Spiced Rice for tea. Very jummy for a ready meal & only 365 cals :like:

I decided to do a 4:3 week, so I'm fasting today instead of tomorrow. It's not been too bad, have yet to feel my tummy grumble but my head sure wants to eat since I'm feeling a lil under the weather with some allergy issues.

Going away next week so fitting in an extra fast day , find them much easier than normal days....just can't keep away from sweet stuff!
Had plenty of water,coffee with a splash of milk & a lovely big salad with a little chicken for dinner got enough cals for bedtime hot chocolate & feel completely satisfied so why do I go haywire on normal days?!

Just done my second fast day. I've found it surprisingly easy. I'm struggling with the day after the fast day which seems strange. I think I probably don't drink enough on non-fast days. I made the mistake today of having a small cup of soup at 4 pm and then was really hungry until I ate at 6.30 pm. Made Nigella's Vietnamese salad without the oil. Delicious. My OH , who definitely doesn't have a weight problem, had the same with a pile of rice noodles. It's good when we can eat the same thing. I even have enough calories for a hot chocolate tonight. Hope that means I can sleep! I'm finding the forum a massive support so thank you all you 5:2 ers x

I did good all day but once I got home it went downhill. Had a salad--good, made some white yam shiritake noodles for the first time with some spaghetti sauce--just couldn't eat them, a texture thing, so made some mozzerella sticks to dip in the leftover sketti sauce which bumped me over 500 cals. Then a few strawberries (hey, they're healthy, right?), and a thin slice of some cinnamon bread. So, fast day fail, but it was a stressful day and the emotional eating took over. Going to try again Friday.
