Fasting too.third this week, started as a sort of low calorie day, skipped breakfast, then felt so good had a late lunch of salad only, feeling really good so will have light dinner and count it as a fast.(4,3 this week)
Havnt weighed but today was told I look thinner and my waist is smaller.
Good morning fasters
My OH & I are fasting also today but already feeling hungry I think because of the grey day here & my mood is down. We will not eat until dinner at 7-00pm so I feel as though I am rather tough ing it out on two coffees so far & probably consommé for "lunch" instead of a cup of Bovril. I do hope I will return to losing some weight when I weigh in on Sunday.
Good luck all fasters
Well all the best for you all still in daylight!
I'm off to bed, another good fasting day thank goodness. It does get easier.

But the cold...wow the cold got me today from 3pm.

Tomorrow is weigh in!
Oh beachbum I so get that being dragged by the dog ... That's is exactly what happens to me when I or ... ahem ... my very big dog takes me for a walk. The gym is easier!
yep, i'm fasting today too, i have been doing saturdays up til now as i work on saturdays and it takes my mind off food, but its my daughter's birthday party tomorrow night and i'll be making home made pizzas for a houseful of teenagers and i didn't think i could get through all that without a big slice for myself and a really big glass of red wine!
I'm fasting today, been really good so far..boss gave me some minstrels so will save them for tomorrow!
I'm fasting today, usually a Thursday but had cream tea treat yesterday so need it today. Have mowed and weeded the lawn, just done half hour on xbox kinect fitness evolved all on just a cup of tea first thing this morning. Now posting this whilst waiting for my egg to boil then a pile of ironing to do.
Ironing and fasting, margetts?!

That's either really heroic or masochistic - you decide!!

Personally I'd go with heroic....

I'm back to fasting.

Had a week off work last week - did Monday 29th, but then it was my birthday and I decided to have a holiday on the Friday and May Day Monday.

Isn't it great, though, that instead of feeling that I've "failed again because I broke the diet rules" I actually just decided to skip a couple of fasts then went straight back to it today?

Totally different mindset - gotta love 5:2!
Hello,
First Friday Fast, first week of my fasting diet and first post on the forum. A week of firsts!
All going well, though popping out to buy a can of diet coke in my lunch hour turned out to be more difficult (and expensive) than it was worth! why do I shudder to spend £1.35 on a a bottle of coke when I wouldn't normally blink at spending £3.50 on a sandwich!
Hoping this diet works for me, been there and done most of the rest .....
Wales 2pm
Fasting today and it's a bit strange - never had to do a Friday before - only water and coffee since 7pm yesterday so I have 5hrs left before my 350ish cal. Fish+green veg. meal at 7pm. I've found that doing it this way is far easier as eating any food seems to wake my appetite up and then it's far tougher for me. I come from from a family that had to eat incase we got hungry ( Father a serious diabetic).Magic results so far since Jan'13 I've lost 19lbs, a pound a week approx. and have a waist for the first time for 25yrs. Good luck everyone!

Welcome to you Hannah Banana :)
I love this way of eating, and hope it works as well for you!
I usually fast Mon & Wed but right at the last minute decided to throw in today as well!! I was out with a friend this morning & have used more than half my calories on toast out as I hadn't planned to fast, but not had anything since so thought I may as well embrace a fast after all?!! I have ironing to do & loads to sell on eBay so should be ok?!! X
Supper of haddock florentine in the oven but rather low calorie so will pad it out with asparagus & sweet corn. The sun has been shining on & off but feeling chilly fasting today. Out tonight so I hope I won't have tummy rumbles in public despite eating
Hi all,

I've been fasting at work and it has been ok on the whole - quite busy to that took my mind off eating. I've come home and tried on some trousers in my wardrobe that I haven't been able to wear, 2 of the pairs are only a little tight now and should look ok very soon (yippee!). The other pair is still way off, can't believe I ever used to wear them...
I have been fasting today too. I have had all I can eat today so on the low calorie drinks now. This diet is really working for me as I am seeing a little weight loss each week:)
