Fasting today Friday 10th May
09 May 2013, 20:29
Well I think this is my first Friday fast as I'm usually ready for a glass of red by Friday evening, however that will have to wait till tomorrow. Had my cup of veggie soup and a small white coffee and have my flask of black packed ready for the day. Just walked for 30 mins (in the dark!)to the train as I had to drop my car in to auto electrician - windows not going up....brrr cold here this morning - anyway that warmed me up. Are there any other sadists fasting on a Friday
Good morning!

What city are you in GMH? Wow great weight loss for a healthy BMI too

On my way to gym. I find the effect of GROWTH HORMONE in fasting state extremely interesting. I love Friday fast, good start to the weekend and I eat less on a Saturday.

19 hours already into my fast, and I couldnd sleep. I was not hungry but been thinking about the "nerd" part on the forum I came across last night just before I went to bed.Very interesting stuff! :geek:

All good! Got heaps of energy..and I know "starvation mode" is a myth!

All the best for everyone still to clock in.

UN2NET live Umina Beach but commute to Sydney to 'work' (walk dogs) daily. Well hopefully I will eat less tomorrow too
I will be fasting, once it's morning in the UK :)

Actually, I've already started as I had my evening meal about 3 hours ago!
Is it fast day already? Pffft...
:plate: yes will be fasting tomorrow, 4th fast, no need for that late night snack as just been out for a chinese (*empty plate  ) good luck to everyone
Wouldn't it be great if we started our fasts in UK time and finished them in Australian?
I am also fasting, or rather will be tomorrow actually so it's whole day ahead.
I bought some miso soup, have some mung bean sprouts for snacks and box full of veggies, feel prepared :) happy fasting for everyone!
TML there would be some hardy souls on here who would want to start in Oz time and finish in UK time - :-o
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
But yeah but nooooo - but yeh!
Semi fasting today.

Have done my two days this week, Monday and Wednesday. Only reason I am considering a third is that I fall off the wagon by the end if the weekend due to 4 successive feast days. Kept putting back on almost as much as I was losing.

Reason for the partial day? Going out tonight and will not be able to restrict to the 600 calories. But I figure, restricting to the one meal would be better than going my normal routine. Please correct me if I am wrong

I agree! How good is that!

GMH at least you getting your exercise in! I love dogs. I to walk dogs but no market for it in Brisbane it seems

400 Cal in the gym, cleaned both cars..and and...23 hours and I am amazed how I feel. maybe it will hit me once I sit down
UN2NET - one of the Sydney dog walkers sold his business here and started in one in Bris couple of years ago - round Bulimba way I think (I used to live there, so I remembered it). Dude maybe having only 1 day between fasts and then 4 days is making it more difficult for u - I know I don't like having more than 2 inbetween or I feel like a pig, however there will come a time where I will do 5:2. I have a few weeks done 4.5:2.5, not always planned but have got to my 3rd fast and have eaten 100 or 200 more cals at night. I like 4:3, but sometimes I'm weak :>)
I'm fasting today, 3rd one this week and 9th overall. Lost a stone so far so am enjoying the results
