I'm fasting too. A 36 hour water fast because I have been eating all the wrong things the past week. Cupcakes, chocolate, crisps, ice cream..I have been ridiculous. So after this fast I am back to bran flakes, fruit and healthy meals. I know where I went wrong. I ate cupcakes for breakfast on Friday morning and that set off my hunger and I became a sugar demon for the rest of that day and continued on Saturday. Cake is definitely my downfall and leads me astray every time. So, no more cake in my house.

Very best of luck to all who are fasting today and especially to those who need to get back to healthier eating in general. :heart:
Good idea on the no more cake in the house thing. I have to make a special visit (30 miles round trip) to a place with amazing cake in order to have any, so I really have to want it bad!

Fasting today: I had 10 pistachios, about 1/2 oz. cheese, 1/2c. fresh strawberries and a thin slice of salame along with black coffee this morning. I'm cooking up some veg soup using chicken broth for late lunch and will probably bbq some chicken breast to have with spinach salad with my own local balsamic this evening.

I did a 36 hour fast too JanetM, I was very naughty last week! Got 2 hours and 34 minutes until I can eat again!! (Is it sad I know it to the exact minute?)

Nearly, NEARLY cracked at about 2am last night, was starving hungry, but my boyfriend persuaded me to have the last of my stew instead of the cheese and bacon sandwich that was screaming my name. And success I didn't feel hungry anymore! Woke up today and have had two walnuts and three celery sticks, went for a 30 minute run and still feel fine! Very glad I didn't crack.

How did everyone else go?
