Fasting today Sunday May 26th
25 May 2013, 22:37
Feel like an overstuffed pig. Been going hard with the wrong foods  Now to make ammends, lolling about in bed - just had a coffee and water. Need to get out in the sun...plenty to do anyway, wash the dogs, clean the house, walkies with the dogs, off to look at a nice 2nd hand clothes store I found....then i need to cook - get some healthy food ready for the week and get back in control of my eating. Good luck any of you fasting today.
As I tuck into my cheese and tomato on toast (3 cheeses i have excelled myself and on gluten free toast) As the day progresses cafe lunch on the cards and spaghetti Bol is ready for dinner.

I salute you GMH knowing I too will Be back on the 36 hr fluids wagon come
tomorrow. So sending good wishes :clover: to you and all Sunday may 26 fasters
Me too. Plan today: Mint tea for brekky. Roasted garlic and cauliflower soup for lunch (recipe posted on this forum) with couple rye crackers (200 calories) and then bowl of curried mince beef, tomato and veg curry (300 calories) for dinner. Shouldn't be too bad.
I am here.second Sunday fast.tried it last week and found it quite easy.i was finding the Monday fast too hard as I work late on a Monday
Anyway ,here goes.black coffee for breakfast, maybe if I am very hungry I will eat something small later.otherwise plan is to get to lunch which will be a salad.then dinner lots of veggies and some kind of protein.good luck all
GMH.you are ahead of me here in WA.looks like its going to be a gorgeous day here.might even go for a walk and do some yoga later.
I'm in for my usual Sunday today. Black coffee for breakfast when I finally shift out of bed, water for the rest of the day. Poached eggs on toast for tea. Need to make bread for that to happen. Have a good day fellow fasters.
Sarahg yes gorgeous here too - nip in the air but a typical 'Sydney' winter's day (tho Winter not here for a week) - sunshine, blue sky, nip in the air out of the sun, but 20C. We don't get as old in winter as u do over there (I lived around Perth for about 5/6 years) but we get those hideous humid summers unlike Perth - best summer ever is Perth. I love doing Sunday fasts - way easy for me as I can sleep in (usually up around 5am) and like now had a big nap...yawn, then next thing I know it's dinner...cooking up mixed veg, lentil, chickpea curry - enough for 4/5 days and quite low cal. I like the sound of that garlic & cauli soup - might knock up a batch of that too and freeze. I am not at all hungry today (I think I had enough cals yesterday to survive a week!), so nothing but coffee and 1 hot choc so far - will go walk dogs on beach again soon...ho hum back to work tomorrow. All the best.
Nice and fresh here in Melbourne! Fasting today, only had an apple before my 30 minute run earlier today. Starting to get a gnawing feeling in my stomach that I am trying to quell with green tea and water (HA!). Always got a huge piece of watermelon to nibble on as well.

Got a nice Irish stew (290 cals for the can and a ton of veggies bunged in for good measure) waiting for dinner and will try and make that last until 6pm Monday. Trying a 36 hour fast because I've been a bit naughty this week with eating, so hopefully I will redeem myself. Good luck people! :D
I'm here for another maintenance fast - coffee brewing, nothing till after 12:00 but then eating to match exercise level. Went out for curry and beer last night, still feel stuffed and lethargic but a beautiful day in prospect in the UK so must not waste it! Good luck everybody.
Lovely fresh day here today, I,m another fasting ozzie, approaching 24 hours on water and I feel fine. I find fasting so much easier just not to eat. My belly is flat and my energy levels are fabulous. I love fasting during a full moon, though tonight it,s not quite as big, it,s still powerfull.
I too am fasting - been off work for two weeks and been hard at work at the allotment and garden at home, must confess to some feeble attempts at fasting days during the two weeks, but today will be a success!

Good luck to all of you fasting day.
I'm fasting with you today. It's a lovely sunny day - I'm planning on eating my Roasted Mediterranean Veg with Feta (recipe in the Recipe Forum) for lunch, and looks like I'll be able to eat it outside in the garden! This feels all wrong - it's a Bank Holiday weekend, where's the rain?!
I'm in, too. Lunch soon: a small caprese salad with low-cal balsamic dressing and a small piece of garlic bread.

Boyfriend says, "So, is it veggie burgers and fries tonight?" To which my response was, "Are you mental? Today is a diet day." He was, at least, abject in his apologies.

Unfortunately, now all I can think about is veggie burgers and fries. Sigh.
Had such an easy fast.Mystic, maybe it was the full moonI
I went to amazing yoga class and then a gorgeous walk in the park.didnt feel a bit hungry and have only had about 350 cals all day.later will have my hot choc and a cracker
Too easy.
Four weeks down.havent weighed yet but feel thinner.good luck to all the fasters.
Data wrangling today, 16 almonds eaten so far. A few black coffees too.
Hi all
I'm fasting today also, doing 24hrs again because I've been away for 10days so got to be very good now for a couple of weeks, liquid only until 7pm, just returned from 4mile walk & just going for long bath to kill a little more time, good luck everyone. Sue :clover:
