I was fasting until 1pm from yesterday but just had to have my sandwich at 11.39 as I had a blistering headache. I did come in well under may 500 cals yesterday which was good with 2 soups

TiareMouri thanks so much the garlic cauliflower recipe is Devine

Now I an relax over the weekend ... Job done for the week :)
I'm in, I started yesterday at noon and will finish at noon today. I thought I would try doing my fast day a little differently only a few more hours to go, Hope everyone has a good day.
I'm in today too. Thursday is my normal second fast day of the week but since it was Swedens national day yesterday I feasted instead :-) We went for lovely italian icecream ( not very swedish but yummy). I also had a big bag of onion rings....and it was totally delicious.

Making a mend today with a light chicken salad for supper and fasting until lunch tomorrow. But already planning for supper tomorrow - grilled fish, prawns, new potatoes and a lovely chardonnay :-)
Just an sside- I went to pick my boy up from school and his dad came out. (he is a teacher, as am I ) So he is doing the second fast of each week with me to support me. I got there and he said "oh I am so sorry but I was half way through eating my second choc after finishing off a piece of spanish tortilla when I suddenly realised that I was supposed to be fasting" Hmmmmm!!!! I forgave him and his poor memory
I'm fasting today for the 2nd time, feeling a bit worn out but that's probably down to the massive dinner and 2.5 ciders I had last night rather than the fast. I woke up really hungry which is always the way when I go to bed on a full stomach but I've managed thus far with porridge (98cals) and a cup of black coffee. I've just finished lunch of weightwatchers soup (76cals) and 3xcrackerbread (57cals). I'm not full but I don't feel starving either. I've got some miso soup in my drawer, there's apples in the canteen if I get stuck before hometime. And dinner will be stir fried beef and veggies. I'm going to go make myself a herbal tea to sip to take my mind off my stomach!
3rd and final liquid fast of the week today - looking forward to a weekend eating exactly what I like! And i'm sure a cider will sneak in there somewhere too ;)
Count me in, fellow fasters!
I just had my lunch, zero noodles with spinach, mushrooms and spring onions. It was good!
I'm fasting today as well. It is my 2nd day in my 1st week. I'm looking forward to the red lentil tikka masala from the recipe book at 6 o'clock!
I have just had my third cup of coffee with a splash of milk & added to my supper calories its taken me over 500! & I haven't even eaten yet. Oh well it's not too bad but I have just realised that I need to carefully check the calories in the M&S Fuller longer range. The chicken casserole & dumplings is 460, fine for my OH but restricting for me. :frown:
Isis, I don't even count the calories of my splashes of low-fat milk...
Thank you TML13. Unfortunately I record my intake on the RC online diary that I still belong to. It shows a mug of coffee with semi skimmed milk is 21 calories a cup & Bovril with a heaped teaspoon is 22 calories. I am rather ignoring it today but I find the diary useful for averaging out my calories over the week to see if I am near my TDEE. But in the whole scheme of things it is negligible.
Do keep in mind that when what you eat/drink has its calories written on the package, it is better to count those calories and not the ones in online calories calculators.
Also, it is worth it to see how much milk you actually use in your coffee. I use about 1/4 of what most people do and I have a friend who uses 2 times more.
Fast 27 nearly finished now :)

Just hoping that it helps to undo the last 2 nights feasting !!!!
I'm gutted! I went to make my soup and it was out of date!!!! Ended up having to change to a feast day as I had no low cal food in the house. I fasted on Monday and Wednesday so I will fast tomorrow so I will still have got three days of fasting in this week.
