I'm aiming for a complete liquid fast today - haven't told my wife yet!

Just made a big flask of iced coffee that will last me through the day - black, of course!

Anyone else joining me?
I am! Hi Breadandwine! Just realised I didn't have any coffee today, just water. It's almost 11 pm so my day is over and I'm heading to bed after another cleansing liquid fast. Looking forward to my porridge with blueberries late tomorrow morning!

Wishing everyone a successful day! :clover:
I'm in. Going well. It does feel easier in the warm weather.

Good luck with the subterfuge B&W
I'm in today, wasn't sure as my mum had come up for a visit, but after a not very successful week last week I have managed to maintain (must've been all the start/stopping!) so as I was in the fasting mood decided to stick with it! Have already cooked the spaghetti bolognaise for everyone else's dinner, so food is done! Definitely feels easier in the nicer weather I agree! Hope your wife is feeling amenable bread and wine! :0)
Quiet here this week! Just had a lovely cup of tea after completing my 36hr fast, scales kind to me this morning and glad to be back on track. Just about to leave for work which is going to be bonkers today as the school I work at will be opening the new building today so everyone will spend the day getting lost! Not long until end of term though! Thank goodness :0)
Glad the scales behaved this morning Mariposa !

Just enjoyed a lovely omelette to break my fast. I'm staying off the booze till the weekend, and eating v. low carb this week, to get weight loss moving again.

1cm off my waist this morning which I'm pleased about.

I'll be back later in the week, not sure if tomorrow or Thursday, as I've got to juggle things this week

Good luck anyone fasting today.
I am on my first liquid fast of the week today. After checking myFitnessPal and realising the bolognese dish I had at a pizza chain last night was over 1000 calories, well, let's just say I am pleased to be fasting!
I am in today, usual day is Monday but just back from 5 days in Berwick for my partners birthday. We had great weather and a great time. Both of us over indulged  I put 4 pound on !!! but hopefully by this time next week and three fast days ( today, thur, mon) I will be back on track.
My partner as gone off to work early this morning, she works away, will be back Friday. I have today off so have the washing and shoping todo
Good luck to all fasting today
I did my usual liquid fast yesterday but wasn't on my laptop because the weather was so nice. I have to say that it was the first time I didn't feel cold..........even had to get the paddling pool out to cool off. Not once did my stomach rumble - I guess it is easier when it's hot. Off out for at day out today across the other side of the Moray Firth dolphin spotting.
Well, good news and bad news!

The bad news first - I didn't manage the liquid fast after all.

My wife went into one when I told her what I was doing - she's been on my case about losing too much weight since I went down to 9st 3lb (which I consistently am) last November.

So I had this veg curry - with broccoli instead of potato - at around 210 calories:

The good news?

Well, during our 'discussion' about 36 hour liquid fasting I insisted I wanted to do a LF at least once a fortnight.

And she countered with, 'Once a month!'

Result!

I said, 'OK, I'll LF next week.' - she came back with 'No, the week after!"

So that's where we stand - I now have official approval for a monthly LF! :like:

I shall work on that, over time!
Nice negotiating technique B&W
I have had a restful day; only went out to do the shoping; bit too hot and humid here even for the garden.
Hope I manage to sleep tonight; no aircon here :frown:
fast day is still going on OK
Forecast is for cooler weather tomorrow, hope its true as back to work tomorrow
Morning all, good negotiating bread and wine! I'm going for my second fast this week, saw a personal best on the scales this morning so feeling all chuffed as a nice downward trend line has appeared on my weight tracking app! Have got a very annoying weepy eye at the moment and a bit concerned it's conjunctivitis! Seems to be adding a nice lump under my eye this morning! Looks like a trip to the chemist is in order today! Happy fasting all :0)
Hi everyone
Thought I'd join you all and see if I can kick start the weight loss which has been up and down for a couple of weeks.
I started with warm water and lime, then the usual herb teas.
Decided to try a veggie home made juice for lunch and then had a miso late afternoon.
Two walks as well - so far OK. Bit hungry but manageable.
Good luck to all
Hi all, hope your fasts are going well. The weather is beautiful here, and my fast Monday was very easy. I enjoyed a cool diet coke while reading a good book in the sun, and later had a water melon for supper. I count water melon as liquid

Today I'm going to be walking around a botanical garden in the hot weather, so I will probably find something cool to drink both refreshing and satisfying.

Last week I made an effort to eat more low carb, and had a completely astonishing weight loss. This week I've been absolutely craving carbs, and most - but not all! - of the weight is back on. Water to hold the carbs, I assume. My run this morning was certainly faster and more pleasant than it was last Friday when I was at my lowest weight and lowest glucose in the body too. I guess I'll try to ease into low carb a bit more gently.
