I'm in, too. It's a Sunday Tuesday Thursday week for me. I'll probably do Saturday, then switch to MWF.

I'm expecting a not perfect fast day because I'll be up to 3am watching the USA Germany match at a bar. But I'll try to come in at 400ish before I head out tonight...
1pm and I'm still hanging on - having a cup of tea to stop myself having a sandwich. I've made a deal with myself - lovely chicken curry this evening, not counting calories so it'll be a 24 hour liquid fast. So I'll go to bed with a warm, full belly. And I know I"m complaining about the cold, but it's a lovely sunny 19 right now, so even if we started at 2 degrees and will go back down to 2 tonight, at least I'm defrosted now.
Hi Thursday fasters, I'm in too!

@Peonyblue, thanks for getting us started today - I'm just back from the Gold Coast and I have to say, after my 7 am swim at palm beach yesterday morning, I was pretty "blue" too! But it did warm up later in the day.

@Sallyo, well done on the yoga! What a great way to start the day! I can well imagine it's snowing down there! I find asking the restaurant to pack up the leftovers & take them with me for tmrw is the best if both worlds.

@MLCDz, is your mother really fasting with you??? That's a huge turnaround for her, isn't it? Hope it's going well for both of you!

Just spent a miserable chilly half hour in Chapel st (for those of you who know Melbourne - god help all those poor homeless people at this time of year!! Now sitting in a cafe having a lovely long black, that's privilege for you. Almost too late to allow me to sleep tonight, but I'm taking the risk.

Good luck everyone!
Well it might not be cold by Massachusett's standard, but it's bloody cold by my standards. 10 degrees C - the I-phone says that's 52 F. That's cold in my book!

I am home early from work, hanging out and not eating, drinking tea. 3.15pm. About to enter the horror stretch. Shall I go for a walk? That would be smart! Or ironing seems to be a popular fasting activity. It's Life Saving Lentil Soup for dinner again and I have to bulk it out with extra tomatoes or vegies of some kind. Hang in there Aussies as we enter the hard zone.
I think I'm going to have Mexican pizza tonight. I'm really looking forward to it. I've not had it in ages. I'll have aubergines for a topping.
After 4pm now and still okay, although a bit cold and definitely hungry.....watching the World Cup in between sewing and cleaning up. Roll on 6pm for dinner.
I love the fact that this forum is mutli national. 10c is an autumn or spring day to us in the UK but I suppose our temps of 22 plus were we are baking in the heat are nothing to the Aussies among us :)
I am in today had a bit of a hard time monday and eneded up 1000 cals instead of 500 :( but never mind.
I'm in today. Was going to fast yesterday and do my first 4:3 week but failed and decided to stick to 5:2 for the time being. Been doing a little walking too so hopefully can get some weight off. Its going to slooooowwwwww
I'm ashamed to say i'm not fasting today  i have fasted Monday and Thursday since i started this woe and never missed one, but i'm just not feeling it today.
I know it's meant to be flexible but the weekend is a definite no go for me re fasting so it means i'll just have to miss it out :frown:
Must do better.
i became very fixated on food this afternoon so I ended up at the library drooling over cookery books and telling myself: just for today. It worked. Nearly dinner time. And I've got there.
Yes I am back in today... hard to believe I have stuck with this for 2 months already

Just one week off last week when had to go care for sick rellie and surprised self by losing a lb ... must have been all the extra exercise. I ate badly yesterday as in only crisps in the evening after a lunch out so wonder if that will make for trouble getting thru today?

Yes it is those few hours leading up to the evening meal that are the hardest. When fasting there is more time to be doing other things when you take out the time spent in food prep even shopping, then cooking, eating and clearing up. Ok will do bit of ironing, then there is garden for a while and maybe find a corner that needs decluttering! I tend to be at home late afternoon. One plus though is that kettle/fridge is there for yet another drink. Oh and loo handy too
Great to see you all joining in the ride today!

I feel almost ashamed to be playing the winter card - after a slightly chilly morning it warmed right up and I was positively warm on my 1 1/2 hr walk home today. I then spent a few hours gardening and taking cuttings of plants I want to take with me when I move. I ended up being so busy I didn't really feel hungry (though I did sneak some yoghurt in as I was feeling a bit light-headed after my walk).

A big thumbs up and "onya" to all who've pushed through a tough fast :like:
I was going to be in today, but I slept so badly after Tuesday's fast that I'm aiming for a 16:8 very low calorie day instead. I love the flexibility of this WOE.
Good luck to all doing whatever sort of Fast they are doing today :clover:
I m in today, much needed after a "bit" of birthday excess yesterday
Yes I'm in today my 3rd and final one this week
:clover: Good. Luck to all fasting today. :clover: :clover: :clover:
