Welcome to Fastonbury!
26 Jan 2014, 13:46
Fastonbury is our very own festival of fun, full of tents for all sorts of people with different interests and situations.

Think of this as a sort of chat room with specific groups or clubs, one in each tent. Everyone's free to join or pitch their on tent in our 'glamping' (glamorous camping) ground.

Have fun, get to know your fellow forumites and please remember to take your litter home with you :)

I noticed that the maintainers (or maintaineers) don't have a tent yet, but then I thought that a temporary structure like a tent might be inappropriate. I think they should have a stately home or castle in the grounds of which the campers have their campground. It'll have to be a really big building as there will be such a lot of us!

How about this?...only 5 miles from Glastonbury!

It looks like I became a mainteneer just in time for the fun to commence. I believe I need some new outfits - certainly I can't visit the castle in my grubby jeans and tee shirt!!

Yes we maintaineers are becoming more numerous so a nice posh meeting place is in order, will we have butlers and maids or should we stick to NEAT principles and keep the place in ticking over ourselves BYOB.

Should there be a vegetarian tent set up.? im thinking this thread is appropriate. post144341.html?hilit=vegetarian#p144341

im not a vegetarian so i probably shouldnt start one but i do try to have a vegetarian day from time to time. I have a neighbour up the street whose OH lost 45kilos in 1 year not through fasting but just eating a lot of vegetables. So there must be something in it.
