The 'view first unread post' icon doesn't seem to be working for me? It seems to go to the first unread post but then move back through the topic to a random point where it then stops. The 'view last post' icon is doing the same.

Is it just me?

Have you tried resetting your "Board Preferences"?
(User Control Panel / Board Preferences tab / Edit display options)

I had stupidly limited my forum and post displays to "1 day" and couldn't find the threads I was looking for...

Yeah, tried that, and cleared my cookies, but no joy.

I see Caroline is having the same problem, so I've tried again after opening the top post, then going back to the list via the LHS menu, but I can't seem to recreate the problem you're both having.

It works fine (or as I expect it to work)...

Not the 'view new posts' from the LHS menu, but the 'view first unread post' on a specific topic.

If you find a topic with the red icon next to it denoting that there are unread posts, just to the right of the red icon is a small orange icon a little like a page with a black corner - this should take you to the first post in that topic that you haven't read.

Sorry it's taken me a while to suss this one out - but I think I've got to the bottom of it. I think it was something to do with the Facebook like button at the bottom of the pages, as having removed that it seems to be working for me. How about you?

If it's working now I'll look at adding the like button somewhere else and hope it doesn't balls things up again!
