A place for everyone to pass on 'how to' tips about 52fastdiet.co.uk. Here are a couple:
How to search previous topics and posts
There is a wealth of good info already here in previous topics, often a new question has already been asked and answered, so before reinventing the wheel it's often worth having a look around. There is a simple search box at top left and just under it an 'advanced search' link. Alternatively you can search the forum through Google using the search box at the bottom of the options on the left-hand panel. Unlike the forum's own search engine, Google does not include very recent posts (say the last 24 hours). But it does allow much more complex searches. You can include phrases and combine search terms thus:
"two day diet" OR "2 day diet" OR "Daily Mail" OR genesis OR harvie
You can also exclude search terms by preceding the term (word) with a minus sign.
With Firefox, use 'Cool Previews' / With Chrome, use 'SwiftPreview'
These add-ons allow you to open a 'preview window' without having to click. It's a really easy way to have a look at posts (e.g. as listed in 'View unread posts') without having to go backwards and forwards between browser pages or windows. (With Chrome, you may have to tweak the settings of SwiftPreview a little before it behaves most helpfully...)
