6 months of 5:2 dieting...
12 Aug 2013, 11:26
After 6 months (26 weeks) of the 5:2 lifestyle, I am pleased to report a loss of 53 lbs :)

That 6 months included several weekends away (on the beer and curry), a family wedding, numerous nights in hotels, two holidays and more meals out with my wife than ever before (the kids now being of an age where they don't even notice if we're in or not!). And at no stage have I felt deprived, or had any real difficulty staying on track.

I can't believe how easy this is. It's definitely a way of life for me now. I've now got less than 20 lbs to go to my target, and already weigh less than I've weighed in more than 25 years. I have no doubt whatsoever that I will reach my goal weight this time - something I've never been able to say before.

I'm very happy I discovered this way of living...
