2day fast versus 5:2 fast

Hello I'm Fiona and new to the forum. I ,ve been 5:2 fasting for years with good results although I do find it tough on fasting days especially to sleep. My main question is that I have for the past 4 weeks tried the 2 day fast diet recommended to me by a health professional. I have adhered strictly to the rules. The first week I lost 3 pounds , the second 2 pounds the third 1 and the fourth nothing! . I don't know what's gone wrong . The only thing that changed is since straining my tummy muscles I have not been able to exercise this week. Any ideas why the diet stopped working? Should I go back to the 5:2 diet which mostly works. I am really disappointed . I should stress that I don't binge it on the non fasting days but eat sensibly .
