If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi I’m new here... Last week was my first proper week of 2 day fasting, after witnessing a good friend and her great results.

I want to lose around 5 kilos and I’m at the age where it’s hard to stop scales going up instead of going down!!

Is this the first time you've ever fasted? What days are you choosing to use for fast day? I've recently returned to 5:2 although I'm currently doing 4:3 and fasting Sundays/Tuesdays and Thursdays. Its such an easy way of losing weight!

I look forward to hearing how you get on. If all else fails, just remember to keep drinking plenty of water!!
