The FastDay Forum

Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Well done on your first fast George :like: Just remember to use your tracker to see how many calories you can have on your non fast days, it's all too easy to go overboard.
For the first couple of weeks i keep a food diary including milk in drinks, butter etc. I then just tot up my calories for the day, you will soon get a feel for how many calories you are consuming and it will become second nature, and then you will know pretty much what you are allowed. Good luck
Hi, @George11965! Good job on your first fast; how'd Wednesday go? My "light days" are Monday/Thursday. Here's a pdf I put together for a friend of mine, some here have found it helpful:
