If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Things are a little quiet here at the moment, for various reasons, but please do participate in any discussions of interest. I've had an uncle who used to recommend it to everyone to try fasting for 2 weeks to detox the system, but I was always skeptical because of my hypoglycemia.
Some people say that 3 days of fasting is enough for most people. I've only ever gone a full day before and couldn't sleep the entire night because of hunger.
Nowadays - I add a bit of banana and a glass of Keifer(buttermilk) to help stabilize the feeling of hunger.
