The FastDay Forum

Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hello, I am new to this forum. I have been successful at intermittent fasting in the past and would like to start again. I find it to be a bit difficult, but with support, I believe I can make a lifestyle change and change my life. I look forward to reading your posts!

Having lots of trouble posting in this damn forum for some reason .

Nobody else can be bothered to reply to my thread or yours for that matter even though loads of people/ bots are viewing the threads !?!?

Welcome and good luck .

I'm not sticking around in a morgue though .

Bye !

Welcome @Miss Yvonne and @Zincubus (though you may not see this if you have gone already...)

Apologies that no-one has replied to you. This forum has become very quiet of late, as you would see from looking at the dates of posts on other threads, and it can be especially quiet on weekends. The different time zones also impact on when people reply.

Anyhow, there is still a lot to learn from this site, read the "Learn" pages, and the discussion threads can still be informative, even if not current.

Zincubus, quite a few people do Windows fasting, not a lot with very narrow Windows, but some. There is a thread dedicated to this type of fasting.

Best wishes! :clover:

Yes, 'tis the season, I'm afraid. historically, this forum doesn't have nearly as much traffic in November and December. But in January, it will be a lot more active again. Weekends are also generally quite slow. People often only come on their fast days, and most people do their fast days on weekdays.

In any case, welcome @Miss Yvonne and @Zincubus

Thanks for the replies ....

That said looking around the site it looks like a classic con just to get advertising money ..... Just check through the thousands an thousands of 'members' who join the very same day , day after day and yet NEVER ever bother to post even once .

Clicking on the section that shows members ONLINE it shows me and 7 BOTS .

All very suspicious considering the site is hampered so badly by all the bladdy adverts !!
