Hey everyone! I'm totally new to IF and my plan is for my first fast day to be Wednesday. Any tips or helpful information about getting through and preparing for my first fast would be very helpful! Also curious to hear other folks experiences and stories.

Hello nasturtium and welcome to this way of eating. I hope you will find your journey interesting and successful.
I would suggest planning your day, not just what you are going to eat but what you are going to do. Keeping busy is a good way to distract yourself from the hunger pangs. Drink plenty of no calorie fluids , and don't cut down on any caffeine intake. That can be looked at later if you want. You don't want o have a withdrawal headache when you're hungry. The hunger pangs will pass if you distract yourself. Honest.
Best of luck, sign into the fasting today thread and let us know how you get on.
