I am so glad to find an online fasting forum! My name is Ijeoma and I live in Houston Texas! USA. I was borderline diabetic and hypertensive and about 60 pounds overweight which is about 27.2kg overweight. I started 20:4 fasting 3 weeks ago and lost 4 pounds the first week without exercise but added exercise the next week because I have always exercised but started gaining now I am back to where i started. I am looking for flexibility in terms of trying different protocols and would love to learn from all you lovely ladies!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!
If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Sometimes your body will retain water when exercising. But, it will get better, so just keep everything up and hopefully the weight will come off. Make sure you aren't eating more to compensate for the exercise!
