Newbie here!

Hi. I’m an almost 45 year-old RN from Louisiana (Miss Gulf Coast originally) and I just learned of the benefits of fasting. I’m into Day 1 of OMAD and have done 4 days in a row before today of 17, 17, 17 and 20. All days have gone well but I’m definitely headachy today. Ate some Himalayan salt and drinking water! ;) Planning salmon and a big salad for supper. Excited! So far, I’ve lost 2 lbs this week but aim to weigh probably once a week if I can stand it. LOL

Welcome @Marie0304!

Sounds like you have had a good start to your IF approach. There are a few people on the forum who follow OMAD and I believe there are other forums for those who have very short eating windows.

I think it is important to ensure you are having adequate nutrition during your short eating window, otherwise it just becomes a very low calorie diet that is generally not sustainable and may have other issues. So do have lots of veggies, some fruit, whole grains, good protein and good fats in your meal!

Good luck and best wishes. :clover:
