The FastDay Forum

Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Thanks, I bought the recipe book for a penny plus postage off amazon and as I was a chef/cook I really like the look of some of them especially the pictures of Porridge at 200 odd calories and Egg spinach and Mushrooms at 183 it brings home the calorie difference and when you haven't got many to play with the need to choose carefully.
We cant start till Thursday and its with a mixture of trepidation for years I have done either Weight-watchers or slimming world and you forget that everything has calories. We started weight-watchers online in July 2014 and have done extremely well until a 6 week Skiing holiday returning to the UK in mid February this year and since then the weight we put on is still there plus a few pounds but nowhere near all we lost so this is crisis point we don't want to regain anymore as all the hard work then is wasted, the crunch is that all the past diets don't work for us now so here we go, will keep you posted
