Second Time Around

My first expierence with 5:2 Diet was from February 2016-October 2016. I lost around 10 pounds, I looked and felt great. Then.... I moved in with my boyfriend and it became difficult and I was using food as an emotional outlet for the stress from moving in together. We are still living together and I am not stressed about it anymore and decided to give it a second try.

Today is my second day of the new round. It was not too terribly difficult. I find i suceed better if i continue to drink my coffee in the morning but with sugar free cream otherwise I like to save all of my calories for a big meal at the end of the day with a small sweet treat. Today was baked chicken breast, half sweet potato, salad with light dressing diluted and my sweet treat was sugar free vanilla ice cream with berries. Everything was measured and I came in at 488 calories.

My most difficult time is lunch time at work especially if someone has someting yummy smelling. Today I ran 2.5 miles at lunch break and drank lots of water.

I remember during the 8 months I stuck with this diet before that I felt great and food tasted so much better. I am excited to give it another shot.
