If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Previously started 5:2 with great success and saw it as a lifetime strategy. However, veered onto ADF and increased my workouts to double the time I had previously committed. After a few weeks, collapsed with exhaustion and, foolishly, gave up.
Just re-started with 5:2 only and normal workouts. Feeling totally positive and optimistic!

Welcome to the forums! Yes, you're not the first person to get too excited and then wear themselves out. But good for you for coming back and adopting a slower pace. It doesn't have to be all or nothing to be successful!

Hi @loz17 and welcome!

Do consider joining the Christmas Challenge to help with motivation in the lead up to Christmas. The forum is much quieter now, and it would be lovely to have a few more taking part in the challenge. Whatever you decide, good luck and best wishes for your re-start! :clover: :smile:
