The FastDay Forum

Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Thanks Janeg. You're probably right if it's not broke don't try and fix it. I guess the weight loss has slowed down after the dr dropped my thyroxine dose twice and I just thought a change might help.
Changing/mixing it up might help! I'm not really up on fasting with medical conditions, but there is a thread about it and some people on the forum have thyroid issues. Maybe they could help?
Good morning everyone, hey @rawkaren I thought you were on holiday somewhere sunny? Anyway, Bevergong it sounds like you are doing just fine so I'd stick to what is working for you and yes, as Karen says, the link to the 16/8 thread is in my signature so you may find it interesting to read how others have got on doing this, good luck,
