If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi there, another newbie here.

Family have been talking about this diet so I thought why not, I've nothing to lose but the muffin top!

I did my first fast day yesterday and did well until I was cooking the kids tea, but I managed to stick to the 500 cals.

Looking forward to browsing the forum and getting some great tips and recipes from you all :D

Hi ghirlathome and welcome to the forum! You did well to stick to a fast, especially your first one, when cooking. Fortunately most of us find they do get easier.

Lots of good info and friendly help around here, suggest you start with the Welcome and then the Short Answers FAQ. Plenty of recipes - in the Recipes Forum of course!

Do put your numbers into the Tracker, you will get a pretty graph as a reward and it will inspire you to further lightness!

Busiest times here seem to be evenings - we are in an afternoon lull at the moment I think or you wouldn't have had to wait over 45 minutes for a reply to your first post!
