If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. Hi all, so I began my first fast today, as it was a day at work I found it surprisingly easy! I last ate 10ish last night and didn't eat at all today until 5pm - that's 19 hours which is better than I thought I could do, just drank gallons of water :) but as it was Valentines day yesterday and there were chocolates still in the cupboard, I ate quite a few of those!! Then I made chilli con carne with quorn mince, chopped toms etc with no rice. I know I have probably ruined my fast now due to the chocolate but at least I know I won't be faced with that next time....Hummmm x
Ease yourself into it.

I've just succumbed to scraping the bowl after making a fruit cake for OH's b'day tomorrow.

:-)
You might be OK, depends on how much chocolate you had I guess. I think the trick to the fast days is to keep all temptation as far out of reach as possible!!! Kepp going, it gets easier.
Hi, that sounds like a good attempt. I found it really hard at first but you get used to it after a bit. Today instead of two or three tiny "meals" I have just had lunch and I feel ok but I don't think I could have done that at the beginning.
At work I found it fairly easy, just if you know there is chocolate in that cupboard then how can you resist temptation? Mmmm cake, atleast it contains fruit :DDDDD.

@RachelT7 - It's the evenings I find the hardest, I guess that's because I am usually watching tv. Can easily miss brekkie, not told work though as I don't think they'd understand. My partner knows though :) Well done by the way, impressive :D
Thanks - yes, evenings can be bad as I have chocolate in the house! :)
