Hi there everyone

I am very new to this and haven't even started yet. I just finished reading The Fast Diet Book today and have decided Thursday will be my first fast day.

Obviously there will be some trial and error as to how it can work for me. But I thought I would try the method of eating a light breakfast and then using the rest of the calories on dinner. However, I work in the hospitality industry and sometimes don't finish work until 1am. So my 'breakfast' the following day is more like lunch.

Does anyone who does shift work have any tips on how they make it work?

I can already tell that this forum is going to be a huge support for what lies ahead! Wish me luck for Thursday!

Naomi
No idea about shift work, but welcome to the Forums and good luck!!!!

I generally find that once I start eating on a fast day, it's harder for me to manage my hunger. So I don't consume anything but black coffee, herbal tea, and water until mid to late afternoon, when I have a cup or two of bouillon. I save my calories for dinner and it makes me much happier. I really don't like going to bed hungry.
