Hi

I started yesterday with my first ever fast day and it didn't go too badly... I read the Fast Diet book a week ago and just wanted to get half term out of the way before I started!! Had half a grapefruit and a boiled egg for brekky, a cup a soup and tangerine for lunch and a chicken stir fry from the book for tea which was delish and quite filling! As a lot of people have said I wasn't even that hungry this morning which was weird.

Planning on doing my 2nd fast day on thurs. Might try missing breakfast and saving calories for tea as I didn't really feel very hungry in the day on Mon but struggled in the eve when I sat down to watch t.v. Anyone else found that?

I have about 3 stone to lose so am really hoping this works for me as also have high BP which I'm on medication for which is not great (and expensive!!). I also started early morning power walking a few weeks ago which I'm really enjoying, even though it's dark when I leave.... and a Zumba class last week so I'm serious.

I had my 1st fast day yesterday too and like you was waiting for the kids to go back to school before starting, had 1 weetabix at 7:30 then did okay until 6:30 when i had a 2 egg omlette, salad, and chicken followed by strawberries started to feel hungry more after eating so had a highlights hot choc and went to bed.
I have about 4 stone to lose and hoping this will work too, been to badminton today and not gone overboard on my feast day so fingers crossed.

Hello Iwannabeslim sounds like your day went well! I don't think I drank enough yesterday as had a wicked headache in the eve. Also had some heartburn which I've read can happen but not sure why. Certainly not bad enough to put me off though ;)
