Newbie saying hi!

Just thought I'd say hello to everyone as I've only just joined. I've been doing the 5:2 diet for 3weeks now. Today is my 6th fast day. My aim for doing this is to lose weight but also hopefully benefit health wise as well. So far I have lost 4lbs (2lbs each week) and hopefully some more when I weigh myself tomorrow :) . Does anyone else find it easier to save all their calories for the end of the day on fast days? I find if I eat earlier on then I'm hungry all day but if I don't eat I don't think about it until my meal time. Will see how I go on doing it this way :)

Hi Nickims4 and welcome, I'm new to this too but I just don't fancy going all day on just fluids or light snacks. So I eat breakfast then nothing till the evening. Still I may chose to experiment at a latter date.

Welcome Nickims4, yes I go all day and just have dinner, I find it a lot easier...good luck

Hi there, Yes, I tend not to eat untill 6pm on a fast day. I find I dont get hunger pangs if I do it that way, having breakfast just seems to make me really hungry throughout the day and it weakens my willpower.
