Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Loving 5:2
21 Feb 2013, 12:39
This is my fourth fast day and so far I have lost 4lbs. This is great news and it is so good to be following a doable diet. I have tried many over the years, lost weight and then put it back on again. I love food - cooking and eating it! So this time I think I have found something that will work for me and the best thing is that my partner is doing it also. If I had suggested dieting together before finding 5:2 he would not have considered it even though he needs to lose weight. He didn't hesitate! Unfortunately we don't know how much he weighed before starting as the scales broke! We now have a new set so we can keep track.
