Question?!

I'm on my fourth fast day today & have to say I've struggled on this one :-( .......
I was wondering, I last ate yesterday evening at 8pm & have only had water, coffee & a tangerine today, do you think this classes as a full day fast? Or should I stick to the 500cals for my tea tonight?? Confused if I'm fasting longer than I should be ??!! :shock:

Hi, no it sounds like you're doing what most of us are doing, which ends up being about 36 hours on 500 cal when you include the two sleeps. From what I understand, there are probably more benefits from going without eathing for a lengthy period, so saving most of the 500 cal until the evening means we're also doing a 24 hour nearly full-on fast within this 35 hour stretch. Sometimes it feels more like a struggle... today was my 8th, and I definitely felt a bit wobbly. Maybe lack of water. Good luck!

Hi Emm,

Thanks for your response, sorry haven't replied sooner! I got over my wobble and am looking forward to my fast tomorrow, huge roast dinner this evening, although have to say didn't much fancy the roast potatoes which is a first!! Onwards and upwards!!

Oh Torbay - been there, done that!! Some fast days are definitely harder than others. Glad you got over the hump, and I agree with everything Emm said :-)
