4th fasting day
21 Feb 2013, 18:24
Hi guys,

Thought I would stick my two pence worth in. I'm on my 4th fast day today. I lost 3lb in my first week after my first two fasts. I'm a man so I have 600Kcal on my days but I have to be honest I found the first 3 fast days hard and I know I was moody. I have changed tactic today and decided not to eat all day and have all my Kcal in one main evening meal. So far so good, it's just gone 6pm and I feel fine. I chose this method today as I noticed that on my first 3 fast days I was fine up until I actually had a small lunch and then I was hungry from that point on.

I am reasonably fit and active but have struggled with weight for years now. I hate dieting, I feel like an outcast and even good results don't make me feel better but this is great, for the vast majority of the time I'm normal and fitting two fast days into the mundane days of the week is easy. I don't care if I lose weight slowly after all it went on slowly and I'm just as interested in the health benefits.

I have big hopes for this, but then I've been here before.

Hi Felkstan and welcome! :)

I find it much easier to leave all my kcals until the evening too.

I'm on my 4th fast too and have been separating my calories in to lunch and dinner... I was thinking about trying to wait until dinner but I find the thought quite daunting! Especially when I spend lunch at work with other colleagues who will be eating together. Although I do get what you mean about eating in the middle of the day... I definitely am okay up to that point and then get really hungry afterwards! Although I wonder if this would come if I just skipped lunch anyway... I guess I'll have to give it a go!
