I am soooo with you there!
I started on Monday and have watched the scales fluctuate every day but kind of wish that I hadn't now.
I had my second fast day yesterday and got weighed again this morning. It showed I had lost 7lb since my Monday morning start weigh-in, and the disappointing thing is that even though any weight loss is good, I know that it will be less than 7lb by the time Monday morning comes around again!
Every day weighing gives you a false perspective on the overall plan and may make you feel disheartened. So, I am not going to weigh myself untill Monday morning now and stick to just the one weigh-in a week in future.
I always weigh on the morning after my 2nd fast day, before breakfast and after any, er, motions, because that gives the best result. The disadvantage with this is that it is not realistic for where my weight would be if I was not fasting, in fact the difference within a week can be up to 2 kg. Still it's what I've always done.
If you like to micro-manage things and you are prepared for the rollercoaster, you can weigh daily. If so, do record your weight in the Progress Tracker here, it will look like a rollercoaster too but over time the peaks and the troughs will get lower.
Most important thing is to realise that this is not a fast-loss diet it is a way of life and weight loss averages about 1 lb / week or a bit less in the medium/long term. And in fact waist loss is more important for health than weight loss so do measure that too!
I'm now into my 12th week and the need to do a daily weigh has left me, and I now weigh on a Tuesday morning, the day after my first fast of the week. Like others say, there's no right or wrong way and you've got to choose the best way for you.
Good luck.
